Have you seen Basham play? He plays RCB in a very unique system. He overlaps and often can be confused as a right winger. He had these attributes of a RWB, RB, CB and CDM. That’s what makes him so good at playing the role he does.

Pontus Janson is... not.

As cover for Egan? He’d be more suitable I guess but he’s actually not that good. And he’s a dick. And he bottles it in big games, of which we will have loads next season and beyond. Is it worth bringing him in for the three games a season that Egan is unavailable? I doubt he’s out of contract, so he would cost.
