Max points for Leeds and Burnley down to 100 and only 98 for us
 
Vast majority of the predictions completely writing off 3 points at Turf Moor!? We are absolutely capabale of going there and getting a result. They will be bricking it just as much as we will. Actually goes in our favour that we'll need to win. We are terrible when we just need a point...issue is can we go there with enough points accrued to ensure its still a meaningfil fixture! Need to see 3-4 changes for XI at Plymouth. C'mon blades, last 5 now. Still in our hands - get yer fkin chins up

We lost to Burnley, we lost to Leeds twice, we narrowly beat Sunderland so the top teams in the league we have a piss poor record against


Our form and indeed everything about us on the pitch is garbage ATM.

We never win at turf moor.

I really can't see how they will be under pressure, they haven't cracked, we have.

Wish we could go and win but I do not think we have it in us.
 
Of course we can do it, but we won't. It's the Blades Way!!
 
As long as we are within striking distance of them for the trip to Turd Moor if we cant go above them for that game its fnished

We do win at Turf Moor an example would be a cup replay when we were 3 0 up at half time (hat trick from Brian Deane.)

I don't think Burnley are as poor in attack as you're saying.
They were.

But since bringing Marcus Edwards in they've found some balance at the top of the pitch.
The run they've subsequently gone on has been incredible.

They aren't going to drop enough points for us to go up and not have to beat them.

Anis Slimane is starting up front against Burnley. He couldn't, could he?
 



Burnley have won 11 of their 20 home games this season.
We have won 12 of our 20 away games this season.

Just saying.
 
Favourite Burnley away moment is Adrian Littlejohn giving their fans the double 2-fingered salute as we scored our 4th goal (FA Cup tie) after he'd had to listen racist shite from them for virtually the full game.

I think he was charged with something for that and in his defence he said he was just holding up 4 fingers to remind them of the score.

I hope I've remembered that correctly 😬

Just watching Burnley tear Norwich to bits, we'd probably lose to Norwich on current form... Burnley will put 4 or 5 past us..

Would expect a response but thought that would be the case against Millwall

Yet it took till we were 1 nil down before we decided to get going.

We know how strong their defence is.

They're not going to suddenly fall apart.
To go up, we will need to beat them and possibly even win every game.

As for Leeds, they got their rough games out of the way and managed 4 points (Luton / Boro away).
They've had their wobble.

Would you not be confident about the play-offs Pollingtonblade ?
I know you've had us as Champs on 100 points all season (mathematically impossible now).

We have also had our wobble and remain 2 points (level really) off the best team ever seen at this level, super Leeds. I work with several Leeds fans who hate Farke and don't share the our fans confidence regarding their team.

Also has super as Burnley are a win today we are 2 off them.

We should have won one of the last 2, we didn't so we move on.

A 2 or 3 nil today and 97 back on.

Why can't we beat Burnley? They aren't Liverpool or Arsenal we have a chance or what's the point?

With the goal difference as wide as it is, we need to make up 3 points on Leeds & Burnley in 5 games.
I don't see enough banana skins in their remaining fixtures.

I also do think both sides are better than us and we're a lot more fortunate to be in the position we're in.

I think we'll end up on about 93, 2/3 short of 2nd (Leeds) and 4/5 short of 1st (Burnley).

But there should be no reason to fear the play-offs. I just hope we don't miss out on autos the final day, as it could leave a hangover going into them.

Biggest risk for play offs is that Hamer is banned for 3 games by getting to 15 bookings v Blackburn!. That would be sooooooooo very Sheffield United after the previous shit-shows!
