They have sold over 1,000 tickets already, tickets went on sale only a few days ago. Just shows how having cheap tickets draws away fans to the lane. Brilliant from those at SUFC for lowering the prices and now I’m sure with 2,000 ish away fans we will generate a decent enough atmosphere. You only have to look at those at s6, many teams bring under 1,000 because of the extortionate ticket pricing. Let’s just say I love that we do things like this and am proud to be a blade.

Initial allocation of 2,393 went on general sale on 16th by the looks of it with a maximum of 10 tickets per person. Is that just the BLLT?

FA Cup rules state that the away team gets up to 15% of the ground capacity, which would mean a maximum of 4,891(based on 32,609 capacity stated on OS), so hopefully they will sell a few more!

For both sides this wasn’t the most attractive fixture. However, we do like to travel away from home and our away support is up there with the best in the league even if our home support is far from that. Plus the Lane is in the centre of Sheffield which makes a day out more feasible ( unlike at hillsbrough). All at PNE are delighted with the ticket prices and you should expect at least around 2,000. Tickets have sold quickly but I would imagine they would slow slightly. Still not bad for a cup tie when we have to come here later in the season and we are both fighting for the playoffs so in theory is a game we could do with out.

Would be good if you sold out, can't remember how many we brought to your place a couple of years back, but away support really makes the atmosphere, so a 2000+ away following would be great!

The small dig at Wednesday will get you at least 10 likes.

Well played, sir.

I have to say actually I sat in with your lot away at Norwich (my brother is a white) and it was great fun, the amount of stick that lino got for pulling up was hilarious!

Looking forward to the cup game, said brother is coming up with me for that one.

I obviously totally agree with sentiment, but is it not the case that FA Cup ticket prices are (at least partially) dictated to clubs by the authorities? I thought there was a fixed price for away fans, did I dream that up (it's possible!)?

I'm sure the away tickets have to be the same price as the cheapest tickets available in home areas, I may be wrong but I think that's what I've seen/heard before

You've only got until noon today (19th Jan.) to claim your seat & get concessions. (Me being an old fart got my SS ticket yesterday for £5.) :)
Can anyone confirm that this is correct? I know our seats have to be claimed by today, but the prices don't go up after that, do they? I have family coming a good distance, and I was wanting to wait a bit to get tickets until it is clearer that the weather is not likely to be a problem for them getting here.

Can't say I'm 100% sure (didn't ask in the ticket office) but a very thorough mate of mine tipped me off. Worth a call/e-mail?

When I went down at 10 yesterday, I thought the TO was closed as the doors are covered in some opaque white stuff. Also, when I got in, they had chrome barriers to control the 'crowd' (there were about six of us) meaning some had to queue outside when moving the barriers a bit more inside the office would have solved it.

Just tried to buy my two in Upper Corner only to find not on sale. Only two together in South Stand are front row behind goal line at Kop end.

Availability on Kop looks ok,

Surely we should be allowed to buy in John St if they've prevented us from taking up our normal seats?

Rule is that you can't charge away teams more than the home ends. Ours are discounted to attract us to go. Inturn, we have to lowered away prices too

Don't want no riff raff in John St thank you very much.

I deliberately waited until after noon today as I wanted to sit in the South Stand for a change with it all being the same price so thought there would be a wider choice of seats.

Just been down and got mine today Hodgy and I asked about the concessions and was told the concessions remain right up to KO, so no worries. Kids £2 , Seniors £5 , Adults £10, bargain.

Why don't they just allow 5 tickets per customer number for a game like this? They'd sell more tickets.

I was aware of this. However, the club still has to lower the prices for home fans for it to be cheaper for away fans. I was trying to say that similar pricing for away fans in the future would attract larger away crowds which would contribute to the atmosphere at the Lane. Them at swillsbrough charge a fortune and it’s reflected by the atrocious away support ( though good for the price) that clubs take there.

I seem to remember that a tenner (standard non concession adult ticket) is the minimum anyone can charge for a cup match..... as directed by the FA

That's why the lane upper is shut.if they sell out of lower tier the upper tier is available to them to give them 15%

Did you press the "seat you have reserved" button?
Couldn't find it (at first) so tried to select mine in the normal way .Wouldn't let me. Found the magic button (my speciality) and worked a treat.

You'll get better availability now fella, cut off for season ticket holders to claim their seats was 12pm today, i've just got 6 (2x3's) just back from the Dug out on the Kop side of the South Stand

The away team also have to agree to lower prices as per FA Cup rules. This why Manure never have reduced pricing as away teams won't agree due to the chance of a big pay day.

Where on the united website is the ticket plan? Just thinking of having a change from the kop against preston in cup,so just wanted to see what was/is available, cheers lads n lasses.

I expected my season ticket seat to be reserved for me to buy, but it's not. First season ticket what am I doing wrong?

I believe it was reserved till 12noon today (you have to contact the office to claim your seat unless you'd signed up for automatic cup tickets).
After 12 then anyone can buy.
