Going to use this thread to dump info on players that are catching the eye throughout the season, in areas we're looking weak. Hopefully guys that are a bit under the radar; no one needs telling that Haji Wright is decent.

Creative Playmaker:

Considering our best chance-creating player (by a mile) this season is an out-of-form left-back, I think it's fair to say we need some creative support. If you're not creating chances or scoring goals, you're not a number 10. Sorry Callum O'Hare.

Attribute Focus - Shot-Creating Actions (SCA), Key Passes, Through Balls, Progressive Carries, Tackles in Attacking Third.

Deep Lying Playmaker:

"I'm a bit of a wandering gypsy on the pitch. A midfielder constantly on the lookout for an unspoilt corner where I can move freely just for a moment... take the ball, give it to a team-mate, my team-mate scores. It's called an assist and it's my way of spreading happiness." - Andrea Pirlo.

In Soumare, Matos and Peck, we have energy and the ability to win back posession. What we don't have is the slightest clue what to do once we have it. (It's why Hamer has to start in the midfield for me).

Target Man

When all else fails, lump it to the big man up front. Seems to work well enough for Hull and Wrexham this season.

I’d love to say that I understand that, and I do for some of it, but it does have the almost unbelievable factor for a forum post of being positive.

So thank you.
