Disappointing not to see him get closer to the 2nd goal

Good energy as always but suffice to say I’m glad we’ve signed Bogle, end product just not good enough in a team where our wing backs are such a key part of our attacking play

2nd goal - Did I see him push Enda Stevens down?
Stevens 5 Wasn’t even sprinting back on the first goal. Attacking play much better second half
Fleck 6 Very unlucky not to score, played alright overall without being at his best

Think people have been WAY too harsh on him tonight. Couple of awful set pieces aside I thought he was good
Lundstram 3
Wretched. Times like this it understandably gets on the fans collective tits that he hasn’t signed his contract. One good half season in 3 years does not a Steven Gerrard make.
Mcburnie 8
Played very well, deserves better service. Hopefully we’ll be signing a worthy strike partner
Sharp 5
He’s never relied on pace or technical ability, but I still think he’ll be a good penalty box striker at this level for when we have the opposition pinned back. But whenever the team doesn’t have control of the game, he shouldn’t be on the pitch

Brilliant technique, reading of the game and really starting to use his strength. Gonna be a huge player for us

The team was playing well when he came on, but I don’t think he’s ever been good in the final third whether it’s creating or scoring.
He gives us control of the game by overloading the midfield, but we were already on top by the time he came on. Needs to be better although clearly rusty today and will improve when fit. Don’t really want to see him starting tbh
Overall
Crazy first 6 minutes but we probably created more chances today than we did in the first 3 games put together last season.
Still think we could be in for a fantastic season
