What a game! Unbelievable finish, possibly the most mental I've gone at a game since Hull in the promotion season!
It was also nice to see us playing passing football for the most part, with very little long-ball stuff (obviously the last goal is an exception but I think I can forgive one hoooof in the 96th minute).
Only downer of the day was getting stuck in bloody SLOUGH for 2 hours on the train after the match
Ikeme - 7 - Looked solid, had good handling on long shots and made a couple of good saves from one-on-ones. Dropped one cross but I though he'd been fouled. Good distribtion as well. Don't think he could've done much with either goal.
Walker - 7 - Steady performance, don't remember him making any stupid mistakes but don't think he got forward as much as he sometimes does.
Morgan - 7 - Commanding, does what he always does.
Davies - 6.5 - Didn't do too much wrong, thought he gave away a needless foul for the freekick for their first goal although someone else said it was Morgan so apologies to him if I'm wrong.
Kilgallon - 6 - First 15 minutes I thought he looked terrible, giving his man far too much room. Improved after that though.
Montgomery - 7.5 - Typical Monty performance, broke up Bristol play very well but also occasionally gave the ball away.
Williamson - 7.5 - Was very impressed with him. I don't want to speak too soon but I really think he could be the midfielder we've been crying out for for years. Was happy to put his foot on the ball and look for a pass rather than just getting rid asap.
Harper - 6 - Disappointing. He didn't get very involved, and when he did his touch was shocking. Don't think his performances can be blamed on our style of play not suiting him as most of the play was on the floor yesterday.
Ward - 7.5 - Our most creative player. Constantly attack their defenders and set up our second. Some good deliveries from corners as well. Don't think it's any coincidence that our upturn in form has coincided with his return to the team.
Quinn - 6 - Tried to get involved but didn't do all that much really. Resorted to his usual tactic of knocking it over his shoulder rather than bringing the ball down on several occasions. I'd rather see a more attacking player on the left. Anyone know where Treacy was yesterday?
Henderson - 9 - Brilliant performance. Held the ball up well as, for the most part, balls were played into his feet rather than fired at him at head height. All three of his goals were excellent finishes. Congrats to him on his first hat-trick!
