Bunn 8 Think he will have busier days and acknowledged he should have done better for the 2nd goal.
Walker 9.5 Great player best full back in the league

Morgan 9.5 Great man captain and man management of davies who had a nervous start.

Davies 8 To say it was his first game and against wendy thought he did great shaky start but got better.
Taylor 8 Getting better and more confident every week had a good game.

Ward 9 Getting more confident hope he's not out to long, Well taken goal

Harper 7.5 Quieter game for him still finding his feet as a blade.

Monty 7.5 Like Harper did ok was his usual hard tackling self.

Treacy 8 Better first half than second puts some great crosses in and gave 100%.
Evans 7 Jury is still out on him a few good efforts but not working hard enough.
Hendo 8.5 One a lot in the air thought he got the second was treated harshly by the ref.
Cotts 7.5 Did ok when he came on always looks a threat going forward.

Quinn 7 Did a couple of minutes worth did what he needed to.

M.O.M Walker and morgan

Feel free to give your own opinion:thumbup:

Bunn - did what he needed to, could do nothing about the goals. Top save from Tudgay and dealt with crosses and long shots competently. Needs signing. 8/10

Walker - it was no coincidence that Wednesday were dominant when Walker was running with a limp. Much as Esajas made a difference, he was against a wounded Walker for fifteen minutes. Kit lady wil be surprised this morning when she finds Jermaine Johnson in his pocket. Makes you wonder what he would have been worth at end of this season - I still think he will turn out better than Naughton (good a player as Naughton will be!) 9/10

Taylor - Has had some criticism but is getting better with every game. Was rock solid in the final half an hour last night when it would have been easy to crack. 8/10

Morgan - I've had to change my opinion on Morgan in the last year. He is making more sensible decisions now (after Hume) and is a better defender for it. I think he is more comfortable on the floor now as well although he still knows when there is a time to hoof it away. 9.5/10 and MAN OF THE MATCH.

Davies - Nervous first fifteen minutes of each half - one will be debutant nerves, the other when United were panicking as a whole team. However, along with the rest of the back five (defence + Monty) he was rock solid late on. A promising debut and potential to maintain our high defensive standards. Better than Bromby. 8.5/10

Montgomery - When he got booked early, I was worried but no need. Monty was absolutely superb - as usual - and did his job to perfection. Broke up their possession but sensibly and protected the back four. I've said before that Speed has worked miracles on him. He now chooses the simple pass and makes it more often rather than a few years back when he would try to be a creative midfielder and fail miserably. 9/10

Harper - Did a lot of work off the ball that might have gone unrecognised. He has a calm head but didn't get chance to show that in the derby match. Not the best player on the pitch but he did nothing wrong and is a massive improvement on Howard. 7/10

Ward - What a shame! United's goal threat was reduced when the little fella went off and I genuinely think that if he'd stayed fit, the Boxing Day Massacre woud now be well and truly forgotten. He would have caused havoc in the spaces he would have got in the second half that Cotterill didn't really exploit well enough. Took his goal well, great to see the goals starting to come for him. Wish him a speedy recovery. 9/10 (whilst he was on)

Treacy - Not his best game but Wednesday were worried about him. Having Ward/Cotterill and Treacy on the wings keeps the defence on their toes because of the pace and direct running ability of the players. His final ball is inconsistent and he should have done better with a first half chance at 0-0 but another loan player I would love to see us sign permanently. 7/10

Evans - Thought he was class in the first half, dropping off Henderson and causing problems to their defence. Did well for the second goal. Think it is a little worrying that he still looks tired after 70 minutes as he has had quite a while now to get fit. Is going to score goals for our club though once he settles and gels properly. 8/10

Henderson - He really does not get the credit he deserves. He runs and works his socks off, he gets battered allover the place by defenders, he challenges for every header and he gets no protection from referees. But he plugs away and finally, he got his reward last night. Hey, his ability is sometimes in question - particuarly his scoring record - but the effort he puts in causes problems and creates space and opportunities for others. 9/10

Cotterill - Frustrating. Got some excellent positions second half and should have created us a fourth goal. That said, a superb cross for the third goal. It was dying to be headed home and Lewis Buxton duly did so. TAXI FOR BUXTON! 7/10

Anyone see Darren Purse on Soccer AM this morning having a laugh and a joke? Don't think I would have been happy to see a United player on there after losing the derby less than twelve hours earlier!
