Many have discussed this in other threads, who are you voting for??

You can give reasons below if you like.

For me it's between - Freeman, Fleck, Duffy, Coutts, Sharp

Got to be Sharp, not only for his goals but I think he's really lead by example this season, great Captain. Agree Fleck a close second and also Duffy, his creativity and ability to see the pass has been a big difference for us this season.

Has to be Billy but cases can be made for a couple others also

had to give it to moore, sharp would be second he does a great job of picking points up for us and marshalls his back line very well

Sharp is the obvious one and I would have voted for him but I'm going to come from a different angle here, its his job to score goals and we all know fully well that he is capable of it. Hes a goalscorer and been consistent for most of his career especially in the Championship, so it comes as no surprise to me that hes still doing the business in L1 and at an age where he should be at his peak I should add.

As most others have said you can make a very good case for most of our players this season, but the standout ones for me are Fleck, Freeman and Moore and I'm struggling to choose one out of the three.

When push comes to shove I can narrow it down to Fleck and Freeman as we spent up to £500,000 on Moore so his quality is what we would've half expected from him.

I'd have to say Fleck as hes been a real joy to watch but Freeman is only a whisker behind.

I voted for Sharp, but I could easily have voted for Coutts, Fleck, Duffy, Freeman and Bashan.

My vote went to sharp for the obvious, goals win games, but coutts, fleck and Freeman all had fantastic seasons, really enjoyed watching coutts this season..said it before and I'll say it again..he's our Glenn hoddle!

Moore - although goals win games, keeping them out means you won't lose. From all the commentary on here and elsewhere, he's made vital saves through the season that have directly led to points on the board.

Midfielders win games.

I know it's putting the ball in the net that is the aim of the game, but midfield is where games are won and lost. We have the best midfield in the league, hence why we are top.

So biggest contribution to putting this side in this position is from a midfielder. Biggest contributor both going forwards and defending is Fleck.

He gets my vote

These would be my top 3.

Sharp
Fleck
Freeman

Simply for the amount of goals it has to Sharp, I'm sure though he'd be the 1st to highlight the performance of others which has made his job so much easier. It's been a pleasure watching the lot of em.

Agreed

Sharp has had a brilliant season. 26 goals with 10 games to play is fantastic

However, I've gone for Fleck because we've been starved of good midfielders over the years. When I say that, I know we've had the odd decent lad in midfield player, but how many times have we had a whole midfield that's looked the part? Midfield this season has played a huge part in not only helping the team get results, but we've been hugely entertained this season with the style of football played

For his goals and generally fantastic attitude it has to be Billy but maybe there should be a "most improved player" category and for me that would have to be Bashambauer. When he first arrived I though he was one of the most clumsy players I'd ever seen in a utd shirt but now he's a real pro who gives his all and who I applaud every game.

Isn't the Players Ratings feature a fairer judge performance wise? :)

I ummed and arrrd about this. There are sooo many that you could argue a most convincing case for. Sharp, Coutts, Fleck, Moore, Duffy, Bash, which one? In the end, and the deciding factor was his consistency and improvement on last season, I chose Freeman. However, I now feel disloyal to SuperSharp. Great captain's season from him. Then again, what about disloyalty to..........Oh bugger it! You get the pic....!

Jake Wright

we've been a shambles without him and would not have gone up had he not been here.
