Player of the season?

Handsworth branch winner was Collins.

All the defence for me have collectively had an outstanding season, the only reason we're anywhere near the top of the division is down to the back four and keeper. Hill would have my got vote, thought he was abysmal when he first arrived but defensively he's not put a foot wrong all season. Shades it over any of the other four as each one has made one or two big ricks along the way.

For me it has to be Hill. Been solid all season

I really like Hill these days. He's one of the few athletes and wholehearted types we have.

Whenever he addresses the ball he's the absolute study of concentration, yet he somehow shanks it every time. You have to smile.

Hill's improved loads from that first night in Walsall last season! He tries and works hard and that means a lot to fans.
I would say George should have it tbh, he got thrust into the first team and has done really well.

For me it's between Hill Long and Collins but I'd give to Hill just ahead of Long. I've been saying it for a while Hills been our most consistent player, I'm pleased others have recognised his efforts. As for Long he's had an excellent season so far for such a young man. I watched him play in the local junior leagues and he stood out as one to watch for the future. For George the futures bright just hope it's in red and white?

Hill's not the daftest shout. He's a bit like Collins in that after a very rocky start, he's actually a really dependable defender - and gives the impression he's proud to wear the shirt.

Glad to hear someone else feels this way about Hill. I think he is often given a lot of unnecessary criticism - and like you said, he seems proud to wear the shirt. It says a lot that he was the only player to clap the crowd after the Crawley disaster whilst the rest of 'em ran of down the tunnel quick sharp. He's also won a lot in the air recently which is impressive for how small he is!!

But like most, I think Collins would be my POS.
