Currie to Leeds was a heartbreaker,I can still remember the taunts from the wednesday fans in the school playground. For some reason they were all singing " Mary Mary Currie" to me.
Second to that was when Alan Woodward run off with some woman and went to America

.......Silent [not like you thought ,but i wrote i hated the departure of Addison] as a kid i could not get that tune , ADDY ADDY ADDY ADDY ADDISON out of my developing head , thou the Kop song ........united 1 piggys 2 we were feeling sad and blue.......until John Tudor came on the football pitch hurrah hurrah, Tudor came on the football pitch hurrah hurrah....... Tudor scored and that was it shoreham street was in a fit and we all went mad when Tudor scored that goal. A kop song about him coming on as a sub in the derby 1970?

Just re-read what you had wrote and sorry about that. I must read properly before posting! We were 2-0 up with goals by Colquhoun and Dearden in the 1st half. Craig (some say it was an og by Colquhoun) and Sinclair pulled the goals back and then Tudor replaced Reece before hitting a soft winner through Grummitt's legs. Yes, it was a memorable day

for me it was david holdsworth, thought at the time it was wanker bruce who was stamping his authority and did,nt want anyone who was more popular than himself. beatties sale probably cost us promotion without his goals,he seemed to play most teams on his own at times

i was in the ticket office a couple of months ago.. tc was in the corner speaking to the staff.. a young lad pulled his dads arm and says 'who is that dad?' and me and this bloke just looked at each other awe struck like schoolboys..
