It's Spanish football in general. Take the fella that head butted Vardy the other day. A handbags incident and regardless of Vardy's reaction the lad flicked the nut towards Vardy, so it's a 100% red. Get off the pitch, cock.

Instead it ponces about trying to get to Vardy and then goes to the media about it.

Even withou the tippy tappy shite football they play grating on me, they know how to turn a game of football into a lot of fucking about. It would be more pleasurable to watch without the shite like this
Samir Nasri calling someone a cheat is like Warnock calling someone 'gobby'.

Unlike the blood and thunder of the Premiership, where men are men and no one cheats. I mean no Englishman (Deli Ali) would just throw himself to the ground would he? It's shit I agree but lets not pretend that in Spain or Italy Johnny Foreigner is to blame for it all. I saw someone stamp on Ibrahimavic the other day. He responded by elbowing him straight in the kite. Top stuff.
Besiktas v Olympiakos last night. Besiktas player goes up to an Olympiakos player, elbows him in the head then sticks the nut on. No fannying around.

3 year's from now on a barmy night in Istanbul at the champions league final with Billy getting a 96th minute winner against manure :D

Wembley Stadium - though I'd rather put that off til next season - anyway am off to England vs Lithuania next weekend so can't go twice in a season the chips are disgusting

whats with the pics of Hillsborough?

was forgetting, you share with Harriers don't you?

Hillsboroughs still nowhere near as good as our homely pile of rack, ruin and rubble!

We went to Kiddy for 3 seasons which was costing an arm and a leg at 2k a game, then they decided to double the rent on us so we told em to bugger off, and Bromsgrove Sporting (formerly Rovers) kindly said 'you're welcome to come and share our humble home, we all hate Kiddy don't we?' :)

So thats where we're at...and awaiting the planning permission to go through for a new ground which is hopefully in april/may, fingers crossed we strike it lucky at last.

(Apart from at Bramall Lane of course) Leicester's fans dreaming of the draw for the CL QF made me wonder:

Where when and who against would you most want to see an exhibition match for our first team?

Most grand stadium we've played at is probably Wembley, I'll go first, I would choose:

vs. Sao Paulo at the Maracana in the early summer to hopefully celebrate the conclusion of this season. One of the most iconic football places in the world, looked stunning at the 2014 WC and would love to visit Brazil one day, and it would be a competitive yet entertaining match.

Hopefully one day it will become a reality!

UTB

Been to São Paulo twice in the last 18 months. Not to the Meccano though or whatever you call it. But it's one of the worst cities I've ever been to. Deadly unsafe, ugly and the traffic is horrendous. Need to allow 3 hours for a 25 mile trip from airport to city. I have to go again in June. No football match is worth it tbh!

Wikipedia says record crowd was 17,042 vs Blades for a Fourth round FA Cup game in 1959 (0 - 2 Blades win) - how'd they all get in?

Thats a good question :)

And something I spent many a time at games at the old girl trying to imagine those glory days when crowds were bigger and how it wouldve been packed to the rafters like the proverbial sardines in a tin!

I wished i'd been there!!!

It was a big old ground for non league until the health n safety vultures put regulations in place so by the end it was reduced to a capacity allowance of just 4500... those 4500 could all bring armchairs to sit in and there was still plenty of room left to swing a cat!!

I've been fortunate and lucky enough to speak to a few who were at those games and they've all said that the 17,042 for the Blades game was the figure for those who came through the turnstiles but they saw many more sneaking in over the Canal End and over the Brookside parts of the ground so it was more like 20,000 in there!!! :)

Less obese fans then too

Camp Nou ain't a patch on BDTBL...........
It's just another "bowl stadium"

After having a shifty on Porktalk , like you most definitely Hillsborough S6 . It would show we have arrived , get a result and become Sheffields number 1 again. Also Wilder is the only man who can eradicate The Boxing Day Massacre after all these years .

We've always been Sheffield's number one. Class is permanent whilst form is temporary.

I'd like to win the Premier League the week before we play the pigs at eitheR the Lane or the sty, so they have to give us a guard of honour as the team comes onto the pitch. That would really piss them off. :D
