Pigs game on TV? Where/how are you watching it?


Was wondering about coming up to Sheffield to watch it in a pub but decided that should the worst happen, the drive home would be unbearable. Will make do with the bedroom tv.

Fully agree with this. I can't remember feeling as calm during a derby as I did during those two games last season. I'm usually bricking it every time they cross the halfway line, but they didn't feel like a threat during those two matches. The only jeopardy was if we failed to score, not if we'd concede.
 
im quite relaxed about this one normally im really uptight in a way its a free hit for both teams wednesday are down so theyve nowt to lose but in a strange way its a free hit for us as well were playing that poorly that it sort of takes some of.the pressure off us as were not clear favourites personally think its a nailed on draw

TBH put him on the bench regardless (but with no intention to play) it could give the fans and players a lift having a Blade there. Few in the squad seem to care, so, we need all we can. Our lack of quality on the bench means that, sadly, one less place makes no odds. The added benefit being if that means Cannon loses out, then it's win-win.
 
Not really arsed with this one tbh. It's 11pm ko in Melbourne on a Sunday night so always a difficult time to get to sleep after - win lose or draw.

I'm not even sure I can be bothered to get up and watch it at 07.30am from Michigan.

I don't know if other overseas Blades feel the same, and it's not just because we're losing and playing dogger at the minute, I'm just not as engaged with the games when I'm watching from afar and not in the stadium.
 
I doubt they will have the game on in East midlands airport. Depending if they win or not I'll be taking the next couple of games in the Dog & Duck PDC, if they lose I'll be well away from any pigs keeping my head down in Lanzarote. Imaging the shame losing to the S6 shower of 💩
 
Benidorm, not sure where yet. Watched it in the Crown on the strip last time, it was 50/50 Blades / Pigs. Luckily we won. Would prefer them not to be anywhere near them though. I'll post on here before the game when I know where. Benidorm FC have a home game kicking off at 12 CET so might see the first half of their game first.

I'll be flying out to Lanzarote the following Thursday so will look out for you 😂 (i'm in Playa Blanca for a few days)
 
We have to go 2-0 and boss the game for a good 30min after it.
If they pull a goal back (regardless of if we have 1,2 or even 3) our fans will shit themselves, Wilder will go defensive, their crowd will lift them, and we'll cave.

Watched the Derby and Coventry games in the Dog and Duck - Paddy Kenny was in there as well as he was in Lanzarote at the time on holiday
