Did someone say we had a tougher run in than the pigs? Thought i heard somewhere or read it. So they have away trips to Colchester, Brentford and udders. Udders currently 4th, Brentford top half and miles away plus Colchester think that is as far as u go in this division so that won't be straight forward. Now we have an hour or so to go to Rochdale, MK dons yeah tough but not as tough as udders imo plus a trip to Exeter who will more than likely be down come May 5th. As for home games they have Oldham straight forward, Carlisle very tough even at home and Wycombe, if they can stay up this could be there toughest game if not then that is straight forward. We have Bournemouth should be straight forward, L Orient again should be straight forward and Stevenage which looks now easier then it did a few weeks ago.

So looking at that now who has the easier run in?? no game is easy don't get me wrong but perform like we have been and i can see us getting the 16 points needed however can't see us needing that many.

There's a really good chance we'll get 9 points out of the next 3 games (can't say 100%... Oldham) and then MK who are off form, Stevenage who've dropped off and drawn 7/8 league games in March and Exeter who will probably be down by May 5th - they're 8 points adrift. There's a chance we could win all of our remaining games; pigs won't win all of theirs and even if they did, we've got a 2 point advantage - I can't see us not getting 2nd place.

wednesday to play 4 top 10 teams in last 4
united opposition average place 16th
wednesdays opposition average left 11th

The average form position is interesting as well, ours are around 18th place, Wednesdays are up near 8 or 9

They key thing for me now is whether teams have anything to play for. My personal opinion is that if Wednesday beat Huddersfield then they will run us mighty close (if not pip us). Carlisle at home will be tricky for them, but none of the others have anything to play for. I am praying that Huddersfield beat Orient and then stuff the Pigs on Sat-di.

On my theory, none of the teams should pose us any problems. Possibly Rochdale, as they are fighting for their lives, but they are very poor. Stevenage should have nothing to play for and Exeter should be down.

Of course things never work like this. We could easioly implode again, have a bad day or a team just raise their game/get lucky. Same for the Pigs. We should just take it one step at a time and make sure we blast whoever is in front of us out of the way. Starting with Bournemouth on Saturday :)

Spot on.

Beat Bournemouth and we are 2 points ahead with 5 to play, unless Wendy slip up against Hudds, in which case we are better off.

Beat Rochdale as well and we are 2 points ahead with 4 to play, unless Wendy slip up against Hudds and or Oldham, in which case we are better off to the tune of 4 points ahead with 4 to play. Thats a big gap. Thats a gap that exerts real pressure on the team chasing, as they know one slip and it could all be over (bar the shouting).

Go out and win the next 2 and we'll be in either a very good position, or a fantastic one.

Reminds me of 89-90 we beat Bournemouth 4-2 in April before getting promotion............. same again would do nicely.

So first job done - Hudds within 3 points of pigs and they play them at the Galpharm at the weekend.
Brentford also still in touch with a win tonight so they will want something from the pigs at the end of the month at Griffin Park.
If Hudds win at weekend and we beat Bournemouth we will be 5 points clear of both Weds & Hudds with 5 to play.

Might even have a gamble on a Hudds & Blades double, can't see us losing at home between now and the end of the season, and i think Huddersfield are just a better side than W*dnesday

Another bonus from the Brentford game was that wanker taylor getting an injury ,couldn't happen to a nicer person. If he hadn't 'reffed' our game against them we would be well clear now.
