Just looking at pigs ticket info and they aren’t selling tickets for home fans in the away end ?

Does this mean there’s a possibility of an extra allocation as I’m not convinced there gonna sell out ? Are they waiting to see then last minute give us extra ?

Who knows what the tuna mans thinking

Very much doubt they will want to for several reasons.

They won’t want to do us any favours
More of us = better atmosphere for our lads
SYP won’t like it
They weren’t happy with their allocation at the lane.

They’re probably just trying to segregate the crowd better on the instructions of SYP.

Or areas of the stadium have finally rusted through

They’ll double the allocation and then halve the number of turnstiles to increase the chances of someone dying upon entry.

Honestly, they are desperate for cash so if it’s unsold they might sell them to us.

I can’t believe that the pigs won’t be able to sell their allocation at least 15 times over though. It’s normally sold out before it even goes on sale isn’t it?

Pigs will not be able to sell any tickets in lower Leppings Lane until the rest of the ground is sold out. SYP and SAG will insist on this. If Pigs don't sell out other three sides of ground then we will not get the lower end. SYP will argue its too late and Durham plod have already been ordered and no more are available. Also its Sheffield United whose fans are much more difficult to control than those nice pleasant supporters from West Yorkshire who were given 4,600.

Even if SYP said ok to give us more Pigs won't. They will say segregation problems prevent sale of Lower tier because they've sold the sides of their North and West Stands near the away end so SAG won't allow it. They could give us the remaining 700 or so in the Upper tier but Tuna man is spiteful. He still can't understand why we didn't agree to his request to refuse our fans tickets so that the massive could take the whole of the BLUT. We will not get anymore than what we gave to them despite his problems with FFP.

Even the if both the Pigs and Plod agree SYPTE would derail it. They would say that they didn't have anymore than three trams available to get stuck on Swillsborough corner from 7 to 10 p.m on 4th March.

So the message from the Blades web site was clear " There will be no further allocations".

They are unlikely to sell out but By no means does that mean there will be an extra allocation for United.

They sold their tickets on the same basis last season i.e. they held back the lower tier of the west Stand until the vast majority of the other home stands had sold. They released the west Stand tickets a week or so before the game but didn't sell out.

In fact, in relatively recent times, its not unusual for the Pigs to fail to sell out. There were only 29,000 there in 2001/02 (D'jaffo match) and 27,000 the following season. And that was in the days when they were giving us both tiers.

This 100% will be what has happend.

No way will they sell Lower Tier tickets until groind sold out. Absolutley no point in the risk.

We've had our allocation.

I'd be truly shocked if we were given the lower tier.

Ticket office said no further allocation.

They obviously cant get all their millions of fans into the ground.

And the crows nest where I was sitting when D'jaffo and Asaba scored in 01/02

Hi sorry don’t post much so please don’t shout, but I may be able to help. I was informed on Saturday by the sufc conercial team that the lower tier is being sold as corporate for away fans. So if you have a few quid get in touch, for those upstairs don’t throw urin this time

Sorry...are you saying that Sheffield Wednesday want people to pay hospitality prices to sit on the Leppings Lane lower?

Premium pricing for sitting where 96 people lost their lives? Are they being serious?

I’d like to go with all your points but I feel the latter point is probably the most truthful

No facilities in LL so any number of United fans will have to be ferried from either the South or North stands pre match, after sitting with their fans to eat. SAG and SYP will be apoplectic.

I spoke to the Commercial Dept at BL last week about United running something as they have done in the past. “No sorry, try contacting SWFC” They said nothing about this.

For the worst view in the ground with hardly any cover, taking the piss. They're worth £10 less than the Upper in the real world
But it’s an executive package. You get :

- A tour of the biggest rust problem areas with Gary Megson

- A question and answer session with a celebrity (either Mark the Pitsmoor Pig or Michael Vaughn depending on Mark’s availability).

- An unlimited tuna buffet served on Tango’s naked belly

And you get to watch the blades stuff the bastards.

It’s a bargain really.
