we'll turn up friday ready ,our manager and players will turn up thats guaranteed .
I'd much rather be in our shoes that theirs.win lose or draw we know what we're going to get from our team and that'll do for me.

I love how they keep downplaying the last derby ,like getting beat 4-2 at home by your biggest rivals is no big deal

The fact that we think it is a big deal has caused faux shock and horror that anyone would be arsed to celebrate a derby win Unless it was on boxing day and by 4 goals

Fuck off we know you're hurting and trying to play this one down as well so that when you only lose 1-0 You can give em a standing ovation like the time Quinn scored the only goal

Gormless shitpants

The Regan Slater Derby. You heard it here first.

I jest but anyone put a tackle in the 1st min like the one he did at Ipswich the game will be won.

They reckon it's the midfield where the match will be won...

https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/266140-midfield-key-to-the-derby-day-battle/

Who is their midfield?
Will they play one?

To be fair, they're probs not far wrong - it's were it was won last time: Fleck's free kick, Coutts running the show and dictating our style that outplayed them, Brooks providing the sparkle and excitement and Duffy providing his usual class...culminating in one of the greatest United memories of all time.

They need to find their midfield and Wilder now has to decide his best midfield three too from our several options. UTB.

Duffy, Fleck, Lundstram, Leonard, Slater, Whiteman, Carruthers, who do we go with?

Too many quotes from that site to add on, but the impression i'm getting is that they haven't got a clue, who he'll play, what formation he'll go with, that there's two German stormtroopers heading into S6 before Friday and that it might be worth giving youth a chance...

Apparently, twelve matches back, we were a point behind them???? If that's the case, how far ahead would we be if we hadn't had that nasty run of results?

On a final note... this...

''I’ve just got this niggling itch that we’ve been written off and I’m happy with that...... and so will our new manager because he has got nothing to lose and everything to gain.......''

from their mainboard....

I think some of our fans look for excuses , theyve got a new manager wounded beast syndrome , theyll want to prove a point etc etc
But if we cant go into Friday night feeling reasonably confident we never will
They are missing players , have players hiding looked well inferior to us at the sty
they play too deep and create very little

I never expect a massacre , but I cant see anything other than a win for us by 2 in one form or another

With the greatest respect, you fucking idiot. Just shut the fuck up, be deeply pessimistic and avoid the wrath of the footballing Gods. You know it makes sense.

Yeah, how dare a home have the slightest semblance of confidence. Stupid fucks!

Still fearing the football gods you were on about last season when we were going to blow going up I see
Some people never learn

Heathen! It is because they are feared that they show us some respect. Bow down and scrape for all you are worth. You know they are watching. (Cue weird music from the twilight zone)

Does anybody not think our Manager will be drilling it in every day this week reminding our players how important this game is, I'm not going to be cocky and arrogant like the other lot but providing we play with heart and pashun like we usually do, we'll be OK

Just watched their press conference. The points I noticed:

  • I can't help but think Chansiri reminds me of Kim Jong Un and that is not just because he is Asian. Everyone seemed very wary of him throughout. He seems to call all the shots.
  • Luhukay avoided questions on how he will set the team up and his knowledge of the Championship.
  • All Luhukay seemed to say about the Championship is that there are lots of big stadiums with 'lots of fans'.
  • Very odd that they appoint a new CEO in Meire but yet she is nowhere to be seen at the unveiling of a manager.
  • The new manager comes across as a reasonable bloke but seems to have very little knowledge of the Championship and English football in general.
  • There were references to the derby on Friday by the interviewers but both Chansiri and Luhukay didn't seem keen to discuss it.
  • Luhukay kept referring to the PL as upstairs, which was odd.
  • He seemed pleased by what he had seen so far with the players, which is very encouraging for us.
  • It wasn't really established how DC and JL know each other.
  • When asked about transfers, Chansiri said he has the final say but that is normal. He then quickly moved on from that and said JL is a manager, not a head coach and he didn't understand why everyone said CC was a head coach.
  • DC said that he interviewed an English manager, a foreign manager who has worked in England and a foreign manager who hasn't worked in England.
  • The whole interview was quite awkward and if that was a press conference for us, the Monday before the derby on a Friday, I'd be very concerned.

I feel like Ross Kemp.

According to the pigs at work their in a no lose situation!
If we hammer them its their reserve team
Anything else is a bonus
A draw is a moral victory!
Dem pigonimics eh?

Saw a little bit on Look Leeds the whole show looked like a North Korea propaganda video, tuna man saying all the candidates for the job were very good (what the fuck would he know) but Jos the tos was the best.
Jos Luhukay looked very happy to be back in work after his 16-17 months of unemployment not sure he knows much about English football or anywhere else outside of Germany for that matter. Obviously what he knows of the pigs will be from YouTube clips he will know even less about us Expect Bullen will be calling the shots for a few games yet. Still Mick the pig was bigging him up on Radio Sheff, he has won promotions from a poor German 2nd tier you know but Mick the pig can't be too confident he would take a draw now if offered. ;):):D

The injury problems at Hillsborough, though, aren't normal.

Something's awry.

It got me thinking that if Tufty had 11 out, who would he pick?

I mean, would he turn to the academy, and if so, who?

But they will dismiss the fact that one of their players who isn't injured cost £8 million. If they hadn't wasted that, they could have bought some half decent squad players. They cannot use it as an excuse, and we should not give them it.

I think we have had enough injuries ourselves this season we went into the last derby game with one fit striker. We have not had a settled player at right wing back all season then there is Coutts, Evans, Lavery all long term injuries which is what you have squads for. Now at the start of the season the pigs were saying injuries would hamper us because of squad size yet they would be better able to cope. They cant have it both ways they should be able to cope having a large squad allegedly packed with quality players. Looks to me like they are getting their excuses in early just in case they lose again.

All good points, you can add Freeman to that list. The S6 tramps are pathetic if they expect anyone to accept their flimsy excuses. We beat 'em last time fair and square. They simply couldn't compete, yet they continue to spin lies and other inventions in defence of a defeat. Don't forget, we've just arrived in this division after being away for 6 seasons. Wendy have had 6 seasons to strengthen and adjust to the demands of La Liga.

I'm just tying (hard as it is) to imagine how it must feel to expect a defeat from your nearest rivals, it's as if they've conceded even before the whistle has been blown. There's only one conclusion, no fight, no backbone, grow up piggies!
