Really hope so, if its moved to Friday night Ill miss it as will be on a flight to Athens, if its moved to Sunday Ill miss it as on a flight to Romania so Sat lunch is about the only time Ill be able to see it.

Also going to miss Norwich, Wolves, Derby and Sunderland so far, so the fixtures haven't been kind to me or rather the wifes holiday obsession hasn't

Does the wife like short hops to economically deprived hotspots?

If so, can she teach my missus a thing or too about holiday choice. I'm getting spanked for her wine bill in other destinations..

haha, yeah she knows how to pick them, we're going to Santorini for our anniversary but stopping in Athens for a day or 2 to see some old friends.

Problem was to fly back from Athens was about £250 each but we can fly to Romania and stay for 4 days then fly back from there for about £175 all in.

Its all about the alternative airports, in Jan we went to Vienna but flew to Brataslava instead. for cheaper than the price of a flight from Vienna we got 2 nights in a decent hotel, train fairs, flights food and drink for 2 days in Slovakia.

Looking at the fixture list I would imagine it will be moved back to the Friday as both teams play again on Tuesday 26th. Neither club will want a Sunday game due to rest time between the games.
Don't think it will make a difference in this instance, but when a game is switched to Sunday due to television, fa cup or European commitments, the clubs are allowed to put back their Tuesday games 24 hours - it happens automatically unless both clubs agree otherwise (happened to us this year with the Millwall home game).

Whilst I agree entirely with the sentiment it's stipulated that you can't charge more than the equivalent seat available in the home end. Hence we're stuck with charging them whatever it costs to get in the kop (I think)

True but clubs are equally entitled to run occasional promotions. The solution is simple: create an A++ category for the derby with every seat in the ground at £70 then run a promotion on the home ends to reduce the price back down to £25 or so. Everyone's a winner.

As we play them away first, it will be interesting to see their ticket allocation and the cost of tickets to us

I just hope that if they shaft us, we make sure we reciprocate

utter bankers
