Should go the whole hog (haha) and and get the Beeb to do an hour long Panarama special?
Glad Reach didn't celebrate.
We shouldn’t be surprised either that the Pig fans are happy for Chansari to cheat the system, don’t forget how they were fully behind the antics of West Ham.
I can honestly say if McCabe we’re cheating the system like Chansari and the Pigs I’d be very unhappy. I’d also be very worried about the future of my club.
Really hope it bites them on the arse and they get a big points deduction or outright relegation as a punishment for outright cheating.
They’re a slimy club going back to the days of the betting scandal and their lovely tradition of sacking Managers at Christmas time.
So will Wednesday become rent boys?
If money isn't a problem why do they play in a partly condemned stadium covered in rust ,have an inflatable academy and charge a fortune to get in the rusty blue skip ?
Any inquiries from us to the EFL, they'd dismiss out of hand, local rivalry.
If you're a Bolton, a Rotherham, a Wigan, a Blackburn, a Hull though - they're the ones that should be putting pressure on. It's those teams that are looking at where Wendy are, competing in the middle. If Wendy cheat the system meant to protect teams and spend £20m in January and one of those goes down, that's an injustice.
I'd say the same if it was anyone else too, fucking hate the shady money shit in football. I'd have league appointed accountants if I was in charge. Make sure they're not fudging the numbers.
Well Chansiri is known to bitterly resent the financial advantage enjoyed by the parachute clubs, not only the money gifted to them but the freedom with which they are allowed to spend.
Because Chansiri would likely move elsewhere if the club ever got into the PL. He can't charge those prices with such facilities, and in any case he's reached saturation point with the pricing, at least with these fans. Which means you have to draw fans from further afield, and that means easy access from the M1. The PL is an entity in itself, and he wouldn't care if the newcomers supported the club or not, as long as they could pay. Some people just want to see a PL game, and if they can afford to pay that's all that matters in his eyes.

Has he ever said this, or are you just making excuses for him not improving the stadium or providing new training facilities?
bearing in mind his history of trying to run them as a business
Probably not in public, but bearing in mind his history of trying to run them as a business it's a reasonable supposition of his intentions. I've been surprised about how many of them have expressed a willingness to move out of the rust bucket.
Actually agree with him on this, although I won’t make a habit of thatWell Chansiri is known to bitterly resent the financial advantage enjoyed by the parachute clubs, not only the money gifted to them but the freedom with which they are allowed to spend.
I think even the most biased pig realises the future doesn't lie in a stadium on the edge of Parsons Cross. What fucks my brain up is how did this stadium achieve the status it did in the first place?
Chansiri told the fans at a "Steering meeting" that FFP wasn't a problem and then shortly after didn't tell them they were under a transfer embargo.
Why do you still hang on his every word?
sounds like pie in the sky to me mate, if he's got enough money to pretend to buy the stadium then why not just build a new one now ?Because Chansiri would likely move elsewhere if the club ever got into the PL. What difference does being in the premier league make and why not spend a few quid on decent academy and training facilities ,the ones at middkewood are the same as they were in the 90's
The proof of the pudding is in the eating and it looks to me like he wants to get the club in the prem to sell them for a profit and that he doesn't have any more money to spend
Fook all , they should go to spec savers
What I've said about his attitude to FFP and about his plans to move is not based on public statements, but rather on what I've been told. So I'm not hanging on his words, but rather on those of an intermediary.
He's been here 4 years. You've been in the play-offs twice.
If he was going to build a new ground when you got in the Premier League would we not have heard some more concrete stories about sites or planning permission?
What about the training ground ? What's stopping him because it's not FFP?
I don't know EC, honest. You could add to that list the training ground playing surface, which Turner always blamed for the high number of injuries the club suffers. What I can say is that what I'm told invariably comes to pass, barring interventions which were unforeseen. The same can be said for the info I get about United. And the idea of relocation isn't new, anyway. I remember Dave Jones talking about it when the club got back to the Championship when Mandy was still there. My brother-in-law suggested Blackburn Meadows as a suitable site, but there's no chance of that because it's one of the most advanced sewage farms in Europe. Who says we're no good at anything in this city?![]()
His lack of spending on the stadium and training ground really goes against the argument that he would spend but for FFP.
It's very difficult to see where he is getting his money from, but whoever is funding is unlikely to continue to do so when they are losing over £1m every 18 days. Him putting the club up for sale is evidence of that.
