Can anyone explain the sooty and sweep stuff yesterday?

I was at the front and a steward came over pointing near where the guys with the puppets were sat. It looked at one point he was going to throw someone out but in the build up when we thought something was going on I saw these puppets pop up and did not understand why they were there. In the end the stewards didn't bother. Couldn't figure out if someone was smoking or had brought beer in. No idea.

And yea that was the worst away atmosphere I've been to all season. Didn't help it being Sunday 2pm kick off. Never considered layout of fans but it's true, the layout was not brilliant.

Definitely. Yesterday was probably the quietest away end I've been in for a while because of the layout. I could faintly hear Blades at the other end of the stand singing, but the noise didn't travel well enough at all.

Definitely. Yesterday was probably the quietest away end I've been in for a while because of the layout. I could faintly hear Blades at the other end of the stand singing, but the noise didn't travel well enough at all.

I said the same thing. It’s an awful layout for noise. My Wolves ST holding mate told me they only put away fans in there when they are expecting to fill it otherwise they put away fans in the corner of the new stand which was behind the goal to our right.

The only reason I can think that someone can’t explain the reason is the fact they haven’t got a scobby doo themselves.
