Mi Grandad-cos there was no bigger Blade ever.
His dad George who started us all off on this mad cap journey. Also to have a chat with him as he died before I could talk and he must have been red and white through and through based on his son.
Billy Gillespie, the Irish always tell good tales.
George Utley, Local man, played along side Gillespie who took over the captaincy from him, so nice continuity there.
Ernest Needham, What can you say, bluff Derbyshire Tup, knew all the greats of turn of nineteenth century, and was superseded by Utley, more continuity.
That group should while away a few hours with the stories they could tell and I could learn load about Sheffield United FC.
