Top photo in this section from about the late 80`s I`d guess

So many faces I recognised

Loads of the lads in the printed tee shirts (who was the guy with the blond dreads that used to knock those out in the Cricks and Sportsman)still got some boxed up in the loft with the programmes from the relevant seasons ,eg bertie blades giving the rods off the coach to a load of ozzie owls thumbing to port vale ,bertie blade surrounded by page three girls like linda lusardi and sam fox with pissed off ozzie owls looking on in the background

A load of the High Green Blades off to the left ie Acker ,couple of the MacSweeneys , Big Burger and others ,Mossboro and Bieghton lads directly under the flag and sure theres some of the Rawmarsh and Darnal lads in there too.

Halcyon days for following the Blades in those days all beer ,beer more beer and other ... things

Only two things that are worrying me are

Where the feck am I cos its as sure as eggs is eggs I`d be around that crowd

Its described as a "derby day " photo but I am not so sure its not Ashberry de la zouch before Liecester

Anybody else see themselves there , nobody under 35 need reply :D:D:D

fookin heel swollen thar can't spell Beighton ! :D...sum reight dodgy looking fookers in them photo's ...wudn't be seen dead wi em ! :D

That photo was taken outside The Stag in Woodhouse prior to setting off for Leicester 1990.Coach was organised by some of the Woodhouse lads at the front as I recall.

That explains me not being there then .We went with shred that day and drank in Ahsberry DLZ .I knew it wasnt anything to do with a derby game

Shred + Coach + Blades + Ale + Promotion

I bet that was some day out, i would have loved to have been a bit older than 12 that day and have travelled on it for the piss up. I can only imagine what it was like

Shred + Coach + Blades + Ale + Promotion+ pigs relegated

No you cant LOL

Still remember the bus dropping us of outside the Ball in Ecclesfield and the looks on the faces of the pig fans as it came around the bend with us lot pissed as farts banging on the windows sing we `ll never be masterd by no wednesday bastards ,they told us later they had heard it about 5 mins before it came into view ,we fell off the bus and waved it on its way
it was a session in Ashberry de la Zouch from about 10 in the morning + a few more in the conservative club (any port in a storm)near the old filbert street ground
