Jadon Sancho (same age as Foden) left City for £8m and that was before he had made a first team appearance and unlike Foden wasn't on a long term contract.

As Foden is considered to be at a similar level to Sancho, I'd say that £20m is pretty cheap.

The prospect of signing Foden concerns me for the following reasons:

1. I'd never heard of him until today.
2. His squad number is 80. That's far too high for a good player. The maximum number for a good player is 36.
3. I have seen the clips of him on YouTube and he looks fantastic. This is a bad omen.
4. His surname, "Foden", doesn't rhyme with much, so it will be tricky to fit into a song.
5. He looks too much like David Brooks in terms of his playing style - and we don't want two of those in the team - too lightweight. We need someone more in the Ference Puskas mold I think.
