From sky sports news:

PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor insists Sheffield United have a "valid case" in their protest against relegation from the Premier League.

The Blades remain adamant that West Ham should have been docked points over the controversial signings of Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano.

Now Taylor has added his support as a fans' delegation headed by actor Sean Bean heads to Parliament in an attempt to drum up support ahead of Monday's judgement into the case from the League's independent arbitration panel.

"I think they have a real valid case. I just think it's sad that this has been a shadow hanging over the season," Taylor told talkSPORT.

"You've got to give credit to West Ham for the way they battled back and to a lot of those supporters and a lot of those players. They are innocent in this.

"But there were people involved at the club who knew what they were doing and they are the ones who should be held to account. If some of them are still in football, then the penalties should apply to them for doing it wrong in the first place."

I can't disagree with that. Someone find Terrence Brown, I'll happily see him punished for the years of shit that were largely attributed to him, culminating in this debacle.

Thats the thing, even if Terrence Brown is single handedly to blame, he was still acting on behalf of West Ham as an entity, therefore it is West Ham/the PL's responsibility to either to provide evidence contrary to the claims or to issue a valid and fitting punishment :)

Ok then, if we (West Ham) find Brown, and exact a 'fitting punishment', we'll sweep this whole mess under the carpet and get on with loathing Chelsea etc...

;)

No, re-read, Brown is irrelevant, if the benefitting party (West Ham) of all this is punished correctly then it can be swept under the carpet.

Some people just CAN'T FUCKING READ Foxy!! Does it piss you off when you spend time posting a valid argument just for it to be mis-read or mis-interpreted? Cos it pisses me off just reading it!! Fuck him off, he's a dick.

I think its getting to the point now where the ban button needs to be used on these West Ham fans. :)

i dont think that is required. He hasnt been offensive, the arguments have been articulate, rather than just firing abuse.

Its been said before that fans of other clubs are welcome. The WHU fans that are spouting abuse and dont have the brain power to string a sentance together let alone a constructive argument, ban them by all means, they really do just Fuck ppl off.

IMO let him stay, and we can conitue this, especially once the outcome to monday has been issued (Whenever that may be)

Agreed Maq, he (I'm assuming) seems to have more sense about him than just to try and wind up fans on here.

It is very annoying, for the most part though my posts get completely ignored because generally speaking they can never think of anything to reply with.

Ahh I wasn't intentionally mis-interpreting your post, I just didn't want to regurgitate past arguements - that being that West Ham have already been punished by way of a fine.

But we play for points not cash.

Simple!
