Could be a high scoring game this, they beat Port Vale away 3-0 on Saturday and the week before that got hammered at home by the Plastics 4-0 I still think we will have too much class for them though. 1-4 UTB

Always back Peterborough to score. Even though I'm fairly confident we'll win, we're not getting out of this with a clean sheet.

Just had a quick look on their forums and they seem very confident of turning us over.
Roy's view from should be interesting.

so....the posh are getting cocky are they...........

well, just a little reminder from April 21st 1982.

The Posh manager was asked before the game how they were going to cope with our "free scoring" forwards - he said "they will spend that much time defending, they won't have time to attack"................haha.............we were 3 nil up after 20 minutes...........game over............ended up 4 nil.

So, Posh fans - you do your talking on the forums - we'll do it on the pitch.

See you Saturday lads.

and just a little reminder - you'd better get in "your" pubs early, otherwise you won't have any luck there either.

UTB

Wright will start. They'll attack and we'll have space to play. Their form is patchy at best. MK Dons beat them 4-0 at home last week, then they won 3-0 at Vale but their last 2 goals came after 90 minutes. So hopefully that points to a good combination of vulnerability and confidence, making them there for the taking.

I think we'll win, gone for 2-3 but could be 1-2. And what a massive result it would be, I'd see it as a bonus.

Duffy's due a goal, so is Lafferty. And I expect Fleck to kick on now.

I hope Lavery starts, I think it'll suit him. But if Basham plays ahead of EEL then starting Hanson would also make sense to ensure we keep that physicality.

Wil loyse tha noes cos theers still too much crowin' abart how good wi are an too strong an all. Kin blame that Pinky, me. Ova confident twat wi is "predicting Posh pasted" post.

;)

I've gone for 1-2, this'll obviously be much more difficult than Wombles at home, but we should just edge it. As said earlier on the thread, no chance of a clean sheet. Should be a good game though, The Posh will expect to get a result and play an open strategy, that always helps us as it will give us space to work between the back four and the midfield. There'll be times when we're fully on the back foot though, and we may even concede first. Please, for the love of God Tufty, let Wright keep his place in the team. Billy and MMM Bop with the goals, one either side of half time.

For the first time this season I'm afraid I have to predict a draw between the chaps in toppers, Peterborough United and the Steel City Stylists, Sheffield United.

Might be 0-0. Matt Done to get our nil.

Too risky. I'll go 5-0 Peterboro to placate the gods.

In truth, this could be owt. They're dangerous; we're dangerous. Hopefully though we'll be given lots of room to operate in - this surely is going to be pretty open.

I have been to Peterborough twice. In 1972 and 1982. We won 4-0 in both matches For some time Lmaobob and I had been debating whether to go or not. Glad to say we have just bought the tickets

Hoping for a 4-0 hat-trick!

3-1 Blades, Hanson, Sharp, Lavery.
I think we will go behind and then wallop em.

Peterborough have been one of the better teams to visit the lane this season. Watched the highlights from that game earlier and they pose a threat, especially with Maddison and his left foot. Will be a tough and close game but fancy both teams to score. 2-1 blades.

One of the better teams in the league so a draw would be a decent result but I'm hoping we'll just edge it 1-2.

Peterboro have been really unpredictable all season.
They play open attacking football, always trying to score but that means they leave themselves open at the back. We should get plenty of chances.

Confident they'll score 1 or maybe 2 goals.
But also confident we'll score at least 2 goals and could be 3 or 4.

Gone for Posh 2 Blades 3
But wouldn't be surprised at any score line.
Could range from 3-1 to Posh to 5-2 to the Blades.

With Wright back in the team we will be far less leaky at the back than in some of the games pre AFC. Let them attack, that is if they can deal with our forward pressing.
