After last night’s results its 2 out of the top 4 to get auto in my humble opinion.

I know there’s a long way to go, but I’m gonna stick my neck out.

Fleetwood are the form team and will go up with the Blades as champions. Providing of course the wheels don’t come off for us. We are playing such good football that I reckon we will get around the average 2 points per game we need. Even with injuries we have such a great squad I think we will still be winners. I reckon we have to play a lot of teams in the bottom half. I know they will be fighting for their lives, but can they live with the quality of football we play?

Rochdale away 1pt

Oxford away 0pts

Swindon away 3pts

Charlton home 3pts

Oldham away 3pts

Millwall home 0pts

Coventry home 3 pts

Northampton away 3pts

Port Vale away 3 pts

Bradford home 1pt

MKD away 1pts

Chesterfield home 3 pts

I’ve tried to be pessimistic but even at that rate we get 92 pts. COYRAWW. :)

We would have to lose 3 more games than any of the 3 below us, for them to go above us between now and the end of the season. Possible but highly unlikely.

Amendment to the above, a draw would be enough in one of those 3 games, but would then depend on goal difference.

weve won our last 3 at oxford
oxford have lost 2 w 4 of last 6
both the losses were at home

dont know why people see us losing there so easily

I know you might hate this chaps but I think, if we don't tighten up at the back, and show abit more killer instinct, I can see Fleetwood pippin us to it, especially with the way they're playing.
Hope I'm wrong but, we are the Blades afterall, and we wouldn't want to make it easy on ourselves would we!!?!!

Seems reasonable to me, can't argue with your logic.

I think after today at 2-0 up Wilder's time is nearly up, wonder what that genius Nigel Adderkins is doing these days ?

That would be a shame after the season we're having, still.......

Presuming us and the Fisherfolk go up it wouldn't surprise me if Rosler left them for a bigger club, sadly for them.

We may well beat Oxford but I've tried to be negative. Oxford can play hot or cold. it turns out yesterdays result wasn't so bad bearing in mind we increased the gap by 1 pt. If Fleetwood become champions it's not the end of the world as long as we go up. But the title is ours to lose.

86 points will be enough for promotion.

17 from 11 games.

Think a point at Oxford would be ok, very tough fixture.
