managers only became managers in the fifties , before that was like sunday clubs were the club secretary picked the team , I wouldnt worry

the average manager last 16 months these days at all clubs

It's not that worrying when you view in compared to every other club. In years gone by, it was the norm the employ managers for many years. Now it's the norm to hire and fire every few.

Clough was the 35th longest serving manager in the football league.

We should not be sticking with shit managers. We should concentrate on employing a decent one.

The most worrying stat for me is no promotions between the managers in 9 years now. If the new manager remedies this in the next season or so, we may have one worth keeping.
