You keep posting that
I've seen you post it severa times and it's a fair assumption but it is only. An assumption
Maybe the owners will supplement the parachute income , maybe even do it by saddling the club with debt
But let's wait and see

Unless you're expecting COH to pull some mega sponsorships out the bag then, sadly, the only way to fill the hole in the finances is through players sales.

Even if they were sat on a big pile of cash to plough into a promotion push (and that feels unlikely) then to do so would leave us badly exposed on FFP in terms of our spend versus revenue.

Promotion can of course be achieved without parachute monies, but it becomes a lot more difficult and the owners squandered our last big chance this Summer.

A club in our position can't stand in the way of players like Peck / Hamer etc. wanting to further their careers if their progression is ahead of ours.

What exactly is our our position. ?

Our position is pretty much the same as most clubs. We have aspirations that exceed our current revenues. CaptainMorgans is spot on in his analysis. After this season it becomes harder to keep star players, both financially and in terms of our trajectory not necessarily being able to match theirs. That is exactly the same as for clubs like Brighton and Brentford.

Sorry that should have said out psr position but autocorrect thought two ours was preferable

Its not really very hard to understand, your saying there will be a 50mill hole to fill, so players have to be sold, then mention a promotion/ playoff scenario, if we sell our better players, and replace them with lesser quality players, it might mean challenging for promotion/ playoffs might be out of the question!
Seemingly it is.
I said there is a £20-30m hole for next season, which needs to be filled and I asked how you proposed to do it without sell anyone.
That £20-30m becomes £50m if you want us to have a top 6 wage bill which is generally what you need to push for playoffs.

Unless the owners are prepared to throw serious money at it then yes I think next year will be a huge adjustment season with lots of outs due to us not being able to support the wage bill.

So, for the third time, without sales how would you suggest the gap is covered if the owners aren’t happy to use another huge chunk of investment?

How do you know the owners won't invest more 🤔

I don’t, but if they’re willing to cover those kinds of losses they’ll keep the players if they can.
Why won’t you answer the question? If they wont cover them what’s your solution without sales?

They might, but financial rules limit the scope. Even Forest with their cheaty owner had to make some big sales before their eventual promotion.

We should accept big sales. Our future will be shaped by cheaper recruitment. We’ve done it before and need to do it again.

Didn't realise I had to thought it was just a general debate... lighten up pal its Xmas, if not hours must fly by in your company😂

Interesting concept of a debate you have where you don’t have to substantiate anything you say.
You had an issue with a player probably being available for transfer if the right off came in . It was explained why we may have to consider it as you were clearly ignorant of that fact and you don’t have an alternative suggestion so you’re being a dick.
A debate would have been if you had an intelligent alternative to support why we wouldn’t need to. You don’t.
Merry Christmas.
