So you’re playing someone in a position that they haven’t played for several seasons. And you’d obviously have no complaints if Hecky had done that and it still resulted in a defeat.

Give over, playing Furious at left back is a fucking accident waiting to happen so that doesn't wash at all. He has no left foot, you saw how many times he sliced it out today so having a left footer there would be an instant improvement.

What

There are 10 people in this room watching this

We were shocking despite the sending off

Went into our shell and offered nothing

Awful

Doesn't matter really, all that matters is what happens at the end of the season.
We desperately need promotion otherwise we're in big big big financial trouble.

Think 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats from our last 6 matches will be enough.
84 points should be enough this season to seal 2nd place, even as low as 82 or 83 points is likely to be enough.

Also weirdly we now have 4 consecutive home games, so we should gain the 2 wins pretty easily.

His lack of a left foot is irrelevant when he’s defending.

Did you miss the other points I made on your post?

You’re a sensible poster

We lost 1 player from the 15th minute and offered absolutely nothing from then on - we are 2nd in the table not 15th .

We couldn’t pass water

Our midfield offered nothing

We created not a squeak

Why ?
I think we were just on a bit of a hiding to nothing.

The midfield overall lacks mobility at the best of times so to make up for the extra man we don’t have the legs with the players that started.

Perhaps there was also a bit of bigger picture. Limit their chances but don’t overextend yourself going forward chasing a fools errand. Take the L, avoid it being a thrashing and have everyone fit to take it out on poor Cardiff on Saturday.

It’s a marathon not a sprint.

I think the only thing I’d maybe be questioning Hecky is the sub made after the sending off. Taking Bogle off instead of Robbo would have allowed our best defender (Baldock) to return to his best position, and kept a more defensively solid player at LB. As mentioned above, it might have been handy to keep Robbo’s long throw as an option, and we also had no outfield left footers on the pitch, so the balance was off and out balls became slower and more predictable.

Apart from that, thought we slightly slightly shaded it up to the red.

It was not the management teams fault tonight and the after match interview with Sky Sports was spot on TBH. Since the Boro and Luton shambles, the management team have changed things for the obvious betterment and left out dad's army (thank fuck and it has been needed for some time), so credit to him on that as well.

George was likely played there for his pace against the winger and dum fuck would have likely got annihilated one on one.

100%

someone said goal difference. That will not be a factor this season. If Luton catch us on points our gd will be better than theirs. If boro catch us their gd will be cocomfortably better than ours

He wasn't the problem ! Did alright in my book

Agreed, and it worked until they brought Benson on switched Tella to the left. Meant there was pace and trickery on both side, and only one pure defender to deal with it.

I'm going to ask you in all seriousness, have you ever played football? Saying a lack of a left foot, when playing left back is irrelevant is absolute nonsense. It would be pointless trying to explain why if you genuinely believe that.

The rest of your comments hold little water also, if you're telling me the Manager set us up in a way that he couldn't change when we lost a man then shame on him. I wasn't happy with his Plan A today, the fact that there was no Plan B makes it even worse.

I didn’t say that though did I. I said his lack of a left foot when defending is irrelevant. He’s more than capable of defending regardless of which side he favours. Obviously I’m not expecting his crossing of the ball the be as good when he’s on his left side.

As for my other comments, either you didn’t read them or you didn’t understand them as your reply doesn’t make any sort of sense.

A reply and a PM on the same topic. How strange.

We were awful

You can build in every reason to contradict as you want

We aren’t 17th in the league - we are 2nd

We were a shambles

Fact
Fallowfield has hacked your account.
FACT.
