Unless we are going to play every Def Leppard album end to end then no, then put every episode of Sharp on the scoreboard. The blokes always released shit in my mind, couldn't stand the Housemartins and can't stand him.
 
I think he shot his bolt with a lot of us when he went in a little too early over you know who, some of us don't have short memories and remember seeing him out with the lads, yeah you can change, it's ok, but don't shit on the blades before they did owt wrong, intentions or otherwise....

I've read that he has stopped drinking for a few years now. Apparently, he also co- owns a small theatre in London.

When a man stops taking his ale then a strange change can happen.

In my opinion such cessation is not to be advised... In my experience, never trust a thin landlord, a kebab shop in Glasgow or the musical ability of a sober man,,,
 
I didn't know him as well as some, just an oorregght mate in passing, but he was never a "look at me" he was a working class lad with that socialist attitude, he was a blade n football fan, probs still is a bigger blade than most on here..

It's funny, but Paul heat on was our main celeb fan in the late 80s making us cool as, and when the c@&£d thing came out, some didn't know who he even was, despite being an ambassador, which I never knew he was either..

If you were ever in the marples when happy hour came on, you'd get it.. He's oreight, just lost a bit of his shine over recent events..

It is the football you should be upset about. Don't blame it on other factors. Besides which , how do you know it was the entire album, listened before or since?

Wonder how you get an album played, with all the music currently available?, surely Gary Sinclair wouldn`t just play the album because he`s Paul Heaton mate, would he? :rolleyes:

Yeah, I've been in, its a very strange place, not a bad boozer, a bit like a pub from Kelham Island but it has a theatre upstairs for plays, which I found extremely odd
 

He regularly used to play Sunday morning football in Manchester for a side called Hardly Athletic. Quite apt for his displays - he was not a midfield dynamo! Cracking league that as it also included Frank Sidebottoms team 'Timperley Bigshorts'. Their kit was red and black stripes with Franks head as a badge.

Along with John Reilly's 'This City' and some female country singer that Sinclair met on holiday's latest warblings. Just shit.

It seems to be a Sheffield trait to slag off anyone who has a bit of success. Heaton's last album was quality, and I'm looking forward to hearing the new stuff.
 
I think his music is a bit contrived and boring. But I've never met him and can't speak for his personality or his Bladey Bladeness.
 
Its kids songs. Radio 2 played it over and over again. I don't want to hear austerity of love ever again
