The funeral and wake was held yesterday afternooon and was attended by over 250 people, the speeches & tributes were very special.

In attendance were fans of United, Wednesday, Reading, Newcastle, Wolves & West Ham - we all stood side by side in memory of Dave.

You see Dave didn't discriminate - if you were a fan of football regardless of which coloured shirt you chose to wear, then you were a friend - that was the measure of the guy.

This was a man who saw United play on over 100 grounds, travelled the globe to watch England and even adopted and went to the home games of East Stirling as a second club.

Hopefully there is going to be an announcement at the next home game - hope you manage to catch it.
