Pass Pass and Pass Again

I've always said this is an ugly league and that to get out of it you have to kick your way out with ugly football. I also said that you can't pass your way out of it and that the successful teams have always had lots of height, physical strength and hoofball tactics.

That was beautiful, play from back to front, each player looked for that forward pass and moved the opposition out of position losing their shape and somehow our right wing back made it to their six yard box.

Quality football (Fleck involved in everything around the midfield area)

Evan the final 'shot' at goal was a pass !

UTB.

How football should be played.
Im going to save that clip for when i need cheering up.

Goal of the season contender!

Watching JOC and especially Fleck's involvement was exemplary. Their desire to make themselves available, not only make the right pass at the right time, but to be patient enough to wear the opposition down until their concentration had withered.

Fleck is some player, he's fearless, by which I don't just mean he'll tackle like a bulldog (which he does!), but he isn't afraid to take the ball forward, often into positions that lesser players would be reluctant to go into, drawing opposing players to him, which allows him to release the ball at the perfect moment for the Blades to exploit the spaces that have been created. What a superb example of how the game is meant to be played, as good as any piece of team-work you'll see anywhere. Show it to your kids if they're curious about how the game was intended to be played, UTMB!!!

Not happy under Adkins we would have passed it at least 30 times before crossing the halfway line, admittedly after crossing the halfway line we would have given the ball away, but that's not the point. Get it sorted Wilder.

Love it. It looked magnificent from that shitty uncovered away end, although I thought there were more passes than that leading up to it, I'm sure we passed it round in defence 4 or 5 times in our RB position, running rings round the Swindon players, before getting the ball out to midfield.

Second post on this goal, that's how good it was.

It's testimony to the hard work the players put in on the training ground. It's also a well deserved round of applause for Alan Knill and what he expects from these players. You can only work with what's in front of you, and we now have a group of players who have good technical skills plus a hunger and desire to play the game the way the supporters pay to see. A great day when Wilder and Knill were appointed UTMB

I loved the 'tings' as the ball got passed too.
Couldn't hear those whilst stood on that bloody 'God-forsaken' open end last night.
Maybe we could give all the players a musical triangle and small metal hammer like we had in music lessons years ago for the next home game so that they can build the move and 'ting' their passes as we go forward?
Wilder can do the 'da dum' on the base drum as the ball hits the net.
I'm sure Millwall will join in with the hilarity.
