Would appreciate any parking recommendations; as for years we have parked around St Mary's St and more recently paid for parking near the Decathlon on that derelict area; however this is now gated off for development. We come in past the train station, and don't mind a bit of a walk if it means we can avoid some post match traffic.

Thanks in advance.

Farm club. Walk towards McDonalds and it's just past there. Fiver to park I believe but you get a free drink

Charlotte Rd other side of traffic lights on Queens Rd heading towards bus station. Free parking.

Beat the egg and milk together with a fork. Gently melt the syrup, treacle, sugar and butter together in a large pan until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat. Mix together the oatmeal, flour and ginger and stir into the syrup mixture, followed by the egg and milk. Bake for around an hour.

It'll be very busy Saturday anyway with full house and those who haven't been for a while not knowing where to park leading to more congestion than usual. The 5.15pm kick off time makes for longer drinking time so more giddyness. If you're not getting in very early I'd park well away from ground and take a long walk in, or a park and ride as others say.

Hi Nigela,
How high should I have the heat under the pan?

That’s what I do every match, don’t mind walking so I park at the bottom of City Road near Duke Street and walk in.

Can’t recommend JustPark enough. Basically it’s people who charge out their private driveways. You choose an arrival and departure time and a location (BDTBL) and it shows you your options and prices nearby.

Been using it all season.

Easy to use app too

Twat :D

Don't drive into the city centre. Tram park and ride (Halfway, Nunnery may be easier than Meadowhall, or Middlewood if you're coming from t'north). Or train from Meadowhall - 5 minutes, loads of trains, free parking!!!!

B&Q on Queens Road, don’t make eye contact with the fellas in blue, and walk into the store and out the other end to confuse them.

Thank me later.

Which is why I do Meadowhall.

Loads of trains and straight on to the motorway after the match

We park at the multi-storey next to the Hilton. 25 minutes walk to the lane. Never a problem with spaces straight on and off the parkway. £3.

Keep it quiet though. Don’t want everyone there.

Moore St just behind Stokes Tiles off the bottom of The Moor is dirt cheap :rolleyes:o_O

EDIT - With it being a 5.15 KO it's actually only a couple of quid but still, it gave me an opportunity to highlight the fucking obscene parking charges that Sheffield Council recently introduced.

Buy a light bulb at B&Q and put it, and the receipt on the dash, thus allowing you, as a customer, to park there.
Or that's what I do when I have to drive. Or park anywhere near a tram stop.

Around Milton St. is the best bet usually. Even though they’ve put the car park price up to a fiver!! Robing gits.

However one will be getting a taxi this Saturday and hopefully not making it home
