Which I hope will be filled permanently in January, January could be the most important transfer window we've had for a while.

A lot out, a few ins on the agenda.

Doubt it will be the earth changing event some expect. Prob a couple in on loan I've never heard of and one out.

Hasn't McCabe said there are too many players here already? I can't see too much happening in January in wise anyway.

Collins and Woolford must be certainties, they are beyond garbage.
That said, I won't be too devastated if anyone other than Brayford and Done gets their marching orders. A complete overhaul is needed.

If no one wants to buy them or take them on loan I suspect we will still have The majority of the players we want to get rid of until the summer.

If there are some coming close to the end of their contracts, would if be worth just paying them off and moving them on? Just for the simple fact they are sucking up our resources whilst they are here, therefore allowing Adkins and staff to concentrate on what he wants to keep?

This thread's title is a footballing cliche of such scale that it's blotting out the sun. Nay the sun has actually started to orbit around it.

And for that reason. I'm out.

Yes, can't see it happening though

Doubt we'll get whats needed done in Jan because of the contracts, but I would be very happy if we could poach two or three from this league, like we did with Done last Jan.

We could release some players early and hopefully we can bin Higdon and Alcock for a start.

We will probably sell Baxter and maybe McNuts.

It's all about next season.
That's become our mantra. Fact is for whatever reason the owner/owners are happy to front their interest with a football club cause any businessman worth their bollox owns a football club.
Wake up and smell the coffee, there is no next transfer window, there is no next season there is just a bit of real estate, an asset to front a business portfolio.

Given our current position I expect this transfer window will be to pick up two or three youngsters to be groomed for next season and possibly to offload a few unwanted faces.
A loan or two may come in - these could be seasoned professionals with a high work ethic and a good attitude.
This would help to change the culture.
Hopefully the big money will be spent next July and the squad will turn up fit and raring to go instead of looking like they spent two months on a beach doing nothing but eating pies and drinking larger.

I think there will be a next season to be honest.

It might not be very good. But there will be one...
