For those currently unhappy with the Prince, that wall is a seemingly permanent reminder of what a foolish, spiteful, petty man Kevin McCabe is.

Or the opposite considering ge hasn't built onit. He's hardly going too give it the Prince for nothing.

True, but I bet you anything that if the Prince owned it a vocal section of fans would consider it to be "ours" and demand it back, or that something be done with it.

McCabe owning it and doing nothing with it apart from cheap ego tricks and allowing to fall into disrepair seems to be absolutely fair game. I don't get it.

It makes sense for the new owner to buy it. Hopefully this isn't stymied by the Prince's possible involvement in the club after the sale.

Apart from the Moore Street sub station I can’t think of any Brutalist buildings in the city centre (Park Hill is not the city centre). Plenty of Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, Modernist and Post Modernist, but no Brutalist.

Park Hill is less than half the distance to the Town Hall than TH to the Lane. Which is not City Centre.

Arguably, BDTBL is just outside the city centre.

But your mileage may vary on that (cue 50 pager on whether or not it's in or out)!

Not really off topic so not worth starting a new “consumer opinion” thread for.

I’m just about to undertake a full downstairs refresh. Kitchen is now complete and I’m trez appy with it. So, I’m starting with walls and ceilings int lounge and dining room. Normally I would opt for satin emulsion in the belief it’s easier to wipe clean. However, there seems to be very little choice in that but tonnes in Matt emulsion finish.

Not opposed to matt finish per se just wondering if others use it for decorating and if it’s as durable as satin?

It would be more interesting if I painted it like the back of the Kop shed 😀. Mrs Jelly would’ve pleased

You'll definitely need a paint gun. Go and research some 🤣

If you have got a sample colour, could you use the paint matching and mixing services at somewhere like b&q or Homebase. You can pick the finish and they do kitchen and bathroom paint. B&q use valspar and Homebase use Dulux. There are probably other independent placates well.
