Swelling will take care of itself and shouldn't affect his eyesight, it's a flesh wound. It may get caught but looking at that picture it's not that deep a wound. Unless it goes green and his face drops off can't see it being much of a problem.
 
you dont wanna risk this sort of injury though if a stich falls out and he gets mud into it could cause infections etc on the other hand it probably could be cleaned and stiched up in a break in paly so who knows!

Not wanting to sound funny but it's a fucking cut on the head! not really life threatening at all and even if it does get cut open and something inside it, it then gets cleaned out. Not likely to have dog shit on the turf at the lane are we so I doubt a pile of dogger will go flying into his wound to infect it :D

Come on SF you tell the young ones how hard players were some years back and a cut like that wouldn't have bothered them at all ;)

If we're all so consious about this then stick a mask on his head to protect him if he's going to play.

read in the "Metro" this morning on way to work that Warnock is not impresed with Kenny, and has previously told him not to go drinking in Halifax.

But to be fair to paddy, he is having hard times with his wife, and he obviously wanted some slut to slam. And Halifax is 4 women to 1 man. So easy to pull there
