Praise Or Grumble is only on air on saturdays, not every night. It is called Praise Or Grumble, which I would suggest means people are allowed to do just that - praise or grumble.

If the producers don't want the grumblers, then I suggest they give the programme another name.

I very rarely listen to Football Lunatics/Grumble and Grumble nowadays, as most of the comedy value has completely gone.

As for 6-0-6, it hasn't been any good since Danny Baker stopped doing it. He might be a twat, but at least he tried to get debates going/invited proper silliness/got pissed off.

It's either the pub, or Planet Rock whilst locked in the kitchen/traffic for me now.

have to agree with the OP to an extent. Yes there are a lot of idiots that call in but if you don't agree with Paul Walker, or come round to his way of thinking, you're not allowed to have your own opinion without being shot down.

Fact is Paul Walker doesn't watch us every week, nor does Seth or any other Nazi they have covering us. We are much better placed to substantiate an accurate viewpoint.

I agreed with him last night in that yesterday was much of an improvement on Tuesday night but still thought we were far too direct.

Walker did lose it when he said 'I'm getting really frustrated by people having a go at the united management' though, that was very unprofessional of him.

I turned it off after that.

I'm going to defend the P&G team.

I don't understand the main criticism of the show. At the end of the day, if people phone up and disagree with the presenters, why shouldn't the presenters say "no sorry, I don't agree"? If they don't agree, then neither party is going to turn round and say "you know what, you're right" are they? If the caller doesn't agree with the presenter, the caller would merrirly say "I don't agree", so why shouldn't the presenters say the same? They get cut off because there's only so long both sides can put their point over before it gets boring for the listeners, with hearing two people go round in circles. Besides, they have a lot of calls to get through and limited time.

The only difference is, the presenters have to make the decision when to end the call and as with anything in life, people making decisions won't be liked by everyone all of the time.
