Why isn't promotion a remote possibility if we stregthen at the right times.

Sensible statement about the situation if true but...

January is half way through the season, I'd rather spend the cash now and get 30+ games out of them instead of 18.+
 
I'm with Swiss on this issue, if fans came out and actually said what they'd like to see instead of making stupid comments it might be more useful.

No suggestions from the OP as to what he'd like to see just a sweeping statement. I bet McCabe rues the day he made that comment as it will forever be forced down his throat.

Wilder has talked of additional signings, the struggles with getting players in and whilst we've signed a bunch of players that Wilder thinks are going to be adequate, additional players are being bid for.

So again, 3 games into a new season folllowing a pretty much record breaking one, what are you actually wanting to happen.

Got total faith in the manager....failing to attract players due to lack of funds perhaps......or what do you think it is?...maybe they don't like our pies?......I'm wanting the board to support CW with a couple of decent Champ. Players.....too much to ask?.......i think even you could achieve this on Fifa.

Because I think it's unrealistic to challenge the top 6 with the squad we have, and I doubt we can bring in players during the season that will change that notably.

It's a building process imho over the next 2 or 3 years, and I'm more than happy accepting that. This league has changed since we were last here. I don't think the quality at the top end is much different, but there might more strength on depth down the table. The big difference is what it now costs to buy decent players at this level.

Funny isn't it....there's been much criticism across social media this week about our fans who've found fault with our last 2 performances, yet I had 3 people having a dig at me last Saturday morning for suggesting a draw at Boro would be a great result.

Seems as a fanbase there's little collective agreement this season about what would be a good position.
