It's the canal basin, sorry er Victoria Quays.

It is famed for doubling as the watery backdrop to many films and videos.
Madonna's 'Like a virgin ' was filmed there, plus Pirates of the Caribbean II and Titanic.

People have often said that with the sun at the right angle, it looks remarkably like Dover, but I've always thought more Monte Carlo-ish missen.
