The football under Bruce was exciting ,we always looked like scoring.
To be fair, Michael Twiss was a star on Champ Manager. Probably why he signed himanother up and coming young manager when he came to the lane, i seriously thought he would bring on the young players, but no just another one that wanted to get the cheque book out and losing some good players in the process, who can remember the big star for the future, michael twiss......... i know he was a loan player but i am sure he was a ringer
Big teams play well on big occasions.
In the semis I have seen:
Wednesday were good at that time and the shitwasp scored a great goal.

Liverpool were a little fortunate but Owen, again top dollar produced when needed.
This must be one of our most enduring myths. Owen's goal was simply cosmetic; Diouf had put Liverpool 1-0 up on the night, 2-2 on aggregate. Had we reached the end of extra time like that, Liverpool would have won on away goals. All Owen's goal in Extra Time meant was that had we scored we'd have gone to penalties rather than winning.
Couldn't make it on Friday Sitters ! Any Good ? Hopefully Mr Woodhouse balanced things up !Pig Hirst said on Friday night ,that they knew they were going to win as they came out of the tunnel ,they had a team full of internationals who had all played at Wembley and we only had one or two ,the atmosphere coming out was incredible and some of our players froze.
Michael Brown was about to take the free kick (he had success that season) but Tommy Mooney who had just come on as sub to play for us for the first time insisted on taking it and I was annoyed with Mooney acting as if he is a free kick expert. To be honest talking of the Liverpool game. We should have had a penalty for one of the current pig goalie's assault on Chief, he then went on to handle it outside the box and was only booked instead of the actual rule of being sent off (changed for the evening for Liverpool's benefit like a new rule invented for their benefit for our first game back in the prem) so Owen's goal should never have stood anyway had the ref followed protocol and given the penalty in the first place. Obviously we would have had to scored the penalty, or use the man advantage to a positive effect.
If we beat Hull next weekend I will bare my arse on the town hall steps. ;-)

I grew mine a couple of years ago in what must have been a prophetic moment. Will be sweeping the hair back too at wemberleeee for the full Brayford.
Pathetic really.
all of these playoff defeats should come in handy thenPig Hirst said on Friday night ,that they knew they were going to win as they came out of the tunnel ,they had a team full of internationals who had all played at Wembley
I had to laugh at the one about us being bigger than them until about 10 years ago.....................WHAT!!!!!
Are they talking about 10 years ago when we were heading for the Semi Finals of both cups and the Play Off Final ?
Are they talking about the three or four years after that 10 year period when we got to the Premier League ?
Are they talking about our couple of seasons in the Championship after relegation from the Premier League when we were playing in front of 24,000 - 29,000 every week.
