If Done is ahead of Hussey for left back, there's no point in retaining him. I'd guess Riley offers an option there too.
 
Sell Hussey, McNulty, probably Scougs for the right price. For me Done too.

Loan out Reedy, Brooks.

Would also like us to sign a keeper while the end of the season and loan out Ramsdale to keep him happy, especially with recent Prem interest. See if we can Jake Wright jr and Jordan Hallam playing League football too.

I'd find it a little surprising unless we're under any financial pressure to cut the squad. I don't think we should be doing anything to strengthen any of the others in the top 6. I'd imagine Reed would be much more likely to depart if we're moving out any of the midfield – Wilder has shown very little willingness to play him, in contrast to Scougall who has at least appeared off the bench.
 
Looks like Brooks hasn't yet done enough to get in the first team regularly so get him some game time elsewhere. Scougs is dropping down the pecking order. I'm beginning to think he won't be retained next season (his deal's up, right?) - I thought he really perked us up when he came on against Gillingham, but if he's honest with himself he hasn't made the most of his opportunities when they've come along. Reed, solid, good passer, no real spark of creativity or drive there though. Hussey, great going forward, awful defender, and McNulty ......it's one thing coming back here to "add to the striking options" but if he's 5th choice what's the point?

Basically I'm agreeing with the OP :)
 
Clarke - get wot u can, he's wank.
Reed - Loan
Hussey - Sell
Long - Loan asap
Mcnulty - Sell
Brooks - Loan
 
Sell Hussey, loan Brooks. Keep the rest, plenty of games to play yet.

He's gone too long without proper football and can't be wasting another whole season.

Then try and sell Hussey and Scougall.

Agree on Reed, he's way down the order and needs to show he can play. Perhaps Chesterfield would be a good option?

As for the other two, I'd say keep them as backup. Is it the case there is no market at all post the end of month? In which case, we need to make sure we are covered for injuries. Harsh, as if we don't have injuries they won't get much (if any) game time, but we need to have options.
 
I concur with quite a few people above.

Sell/give away McNulty, Hussey, Scougall & Long as none are or ever will be good enough and shouldn't be near the 1st team esp. with the recent signings.

Consider loans for Brooks and Reed. I'd have also considered Ramsdale if he's not going to be given a go despite Moore's current dip in form and if it didn't mean that Long would be back on the bench

Personally, I'd keep Clarke - I still have a feeling he might yet come good and pop up with a few important goals

Have to agree. Both goals Saturday from that side again. Got to feel a few teams are sussing us out by hitting us fast and on the wings is proving fruiting for them.
 
I'd keep anyone who has even a small chance of playing. If in doubt, keep them.

In our current position, as long as the squad doesn't get ridiculously large, I don't think it's worth the risk of ever being short in any position. Quantity can on occasion be as important as quality.

Jake Wright Jnr will stay at Southport in the Conference. Hallam is no where near L1,L2 football yet. He is far too physically light weight to go out yet. The first of that age group to go out will be Semple. Very strong, left footed centre back who is now ready for Conference or L2. Although with the lack of numbers i can't see Hallam, Semple, Slater, Graham going out anywhere yet.
I have been told a couple of conference clubs wanted Semple for the rest of the season.

Brookes and Reed desperately need first team football IMO
