Who would you keep? I'd actually like another rebuild and probably resign none.

Out of contract;
Robinson
Brewster

Loans;
Clarke
Gilchrist
Holding
Choudhury
Rak-Sakyi
BBD

Think Robinson has another year he can trigger?

Christ those loans have been grim apart from Choudhury!

Holding to replace JLT
Brewster for 1/4 of his current wages

Rebuild around youth…….
Arblaster probables keep him after a year out clubs won't risk it
Brooks, talent abound, my guess is he’ll want away and there will be interest from big clubs who can stack him on bench
Seriki, another reyt talent. Think there will be interest but we hopefully hang on to him
Cooper, can’t see him staying. More than proved himself and London based clubs will want him as No2 or 3 on big money. Or, might go as No1 to Leeds if they don’t get Irish lad.
Oné, got to be his break out year or take 10m

Not saying play them all at once but keep integrating them into first team squad

I don't mind Robbo as a squad player tbf.

I'd just like to see at least 2, ideally 3, CBs in front of him.

The loans have been a serious failure this season

Only Souttar excelled. Choudhury was useful. The rest were somewhere between mediocre and terrible - even BBD, much to my surprise

We shouldn't be back in for any of the loanees. Those who we may want will be too expensive on wages

Brewster should be released if he won't sign on fair terms

Robinson should probably look for a 3 year contract elsewhere and we should look for different CBs and a more suitable captain. Presumably though he'll stay, which is fine, but we need to upgrade if possible

I'd happily see us sign Hamza and Holding. Both of them have shown their PL qualities, even Holding in his limited game time has proven himself to be far too good for the Championship.

Robinson has to go. He's an upper L1 CB at best, and keeping him would be nothing other than negligent.

I wouldn't be disappointed to see Brewster get a new deal, on significantly reduced terms. But that would largely depend on how we are likely to set up tactically next season - we shouldn't sign him to play as a striker, but he's done a solid job in a wider role, particularly in the 2nd half of the season.

Diaz has been a complete waste of time. He's admittedly scored a couple, but he's not done anything that couldn't have been done by anyone else. And then he's out injured for weeks, gets brought on yesterday, and in the brief time he was on the pitch he did fuck all.

Gilchrist and JRS, we've seen glimpses of quality from, but they aren't players I'm eager to see back. Resources can be spent elsewhere to greater success I think. Same for Clarke too, though I might feel different if he'd played more.

If we could sort a deal for Souttar once he's completed rehab for his injury, I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

Problem is, Robbo will never be a 'squad player' while Wilder is in charge. And this isn't necessarily a Wilder out post, it's just that he values passionate enthusiasm above reliable consistency.

Yeah I get that but he was second fiddle for a good while before Souttar got injured.

Honestly don't get the JRS hate. 7 goals in 1750 mins. 1 per 250 minutes. How is that not great for a wide player?
I think it's because the goals outweigh the performances, think he's a bit of a luxury player personally, whereas Brooks who has less goals/assists offers more in terms of a team player.

Would Leicester offload Souttar after seeing how well he did for us? Makes sense whilst ever they were a Premier League club and thought he wasn't up to that level, but at this level it would seem that they are making themselves weaker and a rival stronger. They aren't that dumb are they?

We need 2 players per position though?
I don't see us signing JRS on a perm, so it would have to be a loan.

The problem is then that Palace required a pretty hefty financial package to bring him in. And while he's done pretty well, we could get the same level of performance by signing someone permanently, either by buying from a club, or by free transfer.

If he was guaranteed starter quality, I'd be all for it. But he's not been so good as to earn that tag.

He's had one of the most serious injuries possible and the local paper says he will still be in rehab during pre season and unlikely to be available until the new year.

He's under contract till 2028 so there's little to no chance that we are interested in signing him given he could command a decent fee and won't be available till 2026 and we've no idea whether he will return the same players as he was.

Fingers crossed we lose the printer and pen when it comes to the first list and their renewals.

Me too, take Hamza in heartbeat as RLB, with Seriki coming on later to run at folk!
He's under contract r til 2027 on massive wages so you can mark that one down as a no I would think.

Especially when we have Seriki and will likely be back in for the QPR lad who will be a lot cheaper wage wise and won't command a transfer fee

Choudhury for £5m would be a great pick-up, I think he's been a really good signing and excelled in our bigger games whilst others wilted.

There's a player in BBD, especially at this level.
He was played out of position a lot, definitely seemed to lack fitness the whole time he was here also.
But at £10m, I'd probably pass.
For £5-7m, he'd be worth considering.

Holding and maybe, maybe brewster on favourable terms to us.

Not fussed on the rest (unless choudhury can be got on the cheap and wages likewise).
