Know there are lot's of threads on this. But, weren't we told United are:

- building a squad around youth
- building a squad of permanent players, not loanees.

We bought into this; knowing that it would take time and kinda half-accepting the crap this season as we were planning for a better future. Fxxxing worrying that we can so quickly deviate from this strategy.

Blackman was some way off being the finished article, but I could see he had potential. Thought we were 'build' around this type of potential?

Instead we are left with players who have no potential - Porter. Flynn. Doyle; set of loanees & short-term contracts - Robson, Forte, Higginbottom, Kitson. And some kids who are not good enough.

Hardly promotion material. Who is going to create and score the goals? Thought this had now been recognised by DW. And apparently this 'crap' is costing us a fortune...

Why are we beset by shxt management?

we still have the young players
weve only really sold Blackman ,long maguire etc still here ,
no potential you really believe that
and the only disapointment was a forward we enquired about the fee we offered wasnt enough
unfortunately we trade in the real world with enforced restrictions on who we can buy
If you can show me another league one club whos spent millions Id be interested in learning how they did it

Very disappointed with whats gone on over last couple of days. Thought we were going to bring in somebody up top to freshen up the team , not overly excited about the return of our prodical son , however come 7.30 tonight will be cheering on the boys , and hoping he really proves me wrong and bags a hatrick , some results went our way during the week , so now is the time to get some pressure back on the teams around us. Holding me breath to cool me porridge , bit down with what is going on but as always . UTB .

thing is, theres a lot of players out there between the ages of "kids" and 33/35 year old has beens. be nice if we signed experienced players who werent quite at the werthers originals stage

How many of tonight's players were over the age of 30? The ones who played? I reckon it is at least five plus McD and Porter who are about as quick as setting concrete!
