One season in League 1

Two seasons in the Championship.

I'm looking forward to our third season in the PL.

What might possibly happen ?

When you think it cannot possibly get any better it fucking does, keep thinking I’ll wake up soon
I remember stood on the pitch at Northampton when we finally got out of that division a mixture of relief and joy thinking it doesn't get much better, I remember beating the pigs at their place thinking its doesn't get much better, I remember that home game against Ipswich and promo to the premier and thinking it doesn't get much better, going to toe to toe each week with the so called premiership big boys thinking it doesn't get much better, spending 22m signing one of the hottest young prospects in European football....not sure this story is over by a long way, what a time to be a Blade

What Bournemouth did was even more impressive than us or Southampton.

A small club that has spent most of their history bouncing between the third and fourth tiers.

They went from League Two to Premier League stalwarts in 6 seasons. Remarkable.

Eddie Howe deserves just as much praise as Wilder gets.

Cheats, sooner they go bad to where they crawled out of the better.

I remember that awful day against Walsall when all hell broke loose? Seems like an eternity now...oh wait a minute it was lol!
That was the first time since I was 10 that I cried 😭😭😭

Didn't Leicester go from League One to Champions in about 5 years? Think they shade it. Until next may anyway.

Not even 4 years ago ... How fortunes can change it is too unbelievable for words .. I'll say no more .. except savour every bloody moment , and if there isn't a statue of Chris Wilder outside Bramall Lane one day , I think I for one would like to know why not ?
Take a quiet moment to remember the somewhat maligned SUFC supporter who hired him too ..lest we forget ..these decisions change peoples lives

Southamptons academy has always been good. Perhaps ask a certain 52 year old who left Sheffield in 1982 to join em. Turned down offers from a variety of local teams, including his boyhood club to pursue the McMenemy/Keegan ethos...

Same time as a Mr Shearer did the same thing

One has become a record breaking legend who is a hero to all in his home town. The other try’s to talk bollocks on telly..

Both LMc and KK had left before Shearer signed at Southampton.
