If I read you right Alco, KM has made some shockingly bad decisions, but that's ok becuase he's put money in. Now he's not putting the money in what, really, are his credentials for running a Football Club?

Raul - surely you aren't reading this as me sticking up for McCabe? I'm a massive critic. He's made a right mess with some totally woeful decisions, and I've regularly highlighted them.

That's history - it's gone. He's made them and saddled us with big debts to him. He's not prepared to lend / give us any more. So how do we now make up the huge shortfall. Sadly for Len, there's no such thing as a money tree. In the absence of some gift of money from elsewhere, we're out of options.

I'd love for McCabe to go and be replaced with, at the very least, someone interested in what's on the pitch. Even better, someone prepared to give us their hard earned (even though the likes of Len, who demand that someone should, aren't prepared to pump in £300 per year for a season ticket). Until that happens, the harsh reality is that of player sales. I'm probably more relaxed than I should be, but that's based on a season of realisation that nobody would really be missed.

Alco, remind us all which clubs have the ability to make money in the top two leagues of English football?
They nearly all rely on benefactors, loans and probably worse in some cases. All branches coming off the money tree.

Right now, we don't have a money tree. Until we do, and the likes of you do their bit with a measly £300 per year, player sales are inevitable. Until you grasp this, don't talk about financial acumen.

McCabe's a spent force. Nobody can argue that he hasn't done his bit in terms of putting money in (what he getst back will have to be seen). The issue isn't about that - he's done more than most - it's about the awful way he decided to distribute that money. It's all history and none of it pays today's wages..

mccabe had dissapeared because of the ridiculous ammount of personal abuse he has had to endure being chairman of a football club whos fans specialise in scaring away anyone with any ambition

you were slaggin him off when he was subsidsing our promotion ,and if you look at the facts he has still maintained a top 10 wage budget

what more could the man do ? he has ben let down by the people he has employed to run the club and small minded morons who seem to think it is their duty to continually run the club down ,even when things are going well
people like you

You want to name me someone with ambition we have scared away, seeing as "we" specialise in it?

Thanks Alco, I guess that's the nearest we're going to get to you acknowledging nearly all clubs rely on the money tree.
Your contention that me buying a season ticket would make the slightest difference to what's coming this summer is laughable. It's also worth remembering that in terms of disposable income, many people on this forum will have spent more proportionately on SUFC than McCabe ever will.
When you state no-one can argue he's done his bit, I presume that's from the Paul Walker school of financial analysis.
I have no doubt owning and running SUFC will have made McCabe money in various ways around the world.
Sadly for you, there are money trees all over the world of football. How McCabe has chosen to develop and prune his own money tree is another matter.

What's coming this summer, as far as I can tell, is two and a half months of no football. Not worrying which shite side is going to beat us Saturday/Tuesday. Having a few barbecues. Perhaps going to the beach. Getting annoyed when May and June are warm and sunny but then July is piss wet.

What do you think is coming this summer that hangs over us all like the sword of Damocles, with the string being sawn by the thousands "turning their back on the club"?

You stand on a platform, preach that someone owes it to us to forever pump in their own hard earned, and at the same time proudly announce that you aren't prepared to pay in your £300 per year.

Had you maintained any credibility, it would have just evaporated.

Nice try Alco.
I didn't think you'd be able to deal with the points raised and so it came to pass.
My credibility is firmly in place, time and time again I've called it right.
It's touching that you're so supportive of a guy who you believe has 'pumped in their own hard earned', as you put it.
How much has he 'pumped in'? How much has he made out of it?
When it comes to credibility, I wonder whether mine has just evaporated or the guy who told us how far-sighted he was about the economy and that we had a well-run club.

Given the current losses sustained by Realty/ThePLc/TheF.C and assuming the £3m banked from ST's is the bulk of our revenue for 2011/12, if we don't manage to offload who we'd like will it be the lack of Lenners' or KM's dosh that tips us into Admin?
