Been there twice. Lost once (think it was 2-0) and we sat on the main stand opposite the cameras by the empty end. Shit game.

Other time I think we drew. Frank Talia was in their net and Iffy O played for them (and hit the bar late on from about 35 yards)

Went there once in December 1989. We won 2-0 with goals from Duffield (who broke his leg scoring) and Morris

Was the 3-1 win in November 1994. Trigger Blade, I still remember your "Bodinog" article about that game in Blades Tales. Still makes me smile!

That game was played on 27 or 28 December I think. We played a weakened team and still won. Paul Bodin scored an own goal or missed a penalty (or possibly both).

My first visit there was 1997. Holdsworth scored at both ends within a 5 minute spell. We lost 2-1 and were very poor.

I went to that, you just knew Duff's leg had gone the moment he did it even though we were at the opposite end.

I also went to what would surely have been the worst Premier League game ever in 93/94, a 0-0 draw where they had one shot and we didn't have any. It was so dull, some Blades started playing cards on the terraces while the game was being played.

Brain seems to think that game was on a Sunday, not on the box though

Remember a steady toodle across to Swindon and back via Oxfordshire and country pubs

.

He got involved in a 3 man challenge for the ball. The other two players were Swindon keeper Digby and defender Gittens. Some paper sources creditted the goal as a "Gittens own goal". Yes it was at the other end and I dont know who got the final touch but I think Duffield deserved the goal! My Norwich supporting mate came with me and my dad to that match. My mate's next two Blades matches that season were the 1-1 draw at Ipswich (Mike Lake broke his leg) and the 2-1 home win against Port Vale (John Gannon broke his arm!)

Yes, it was on a Sunday, cant remember why. Before the game I persuaded my dad to go slighly off route on the way to the match to see "The White Horse" at Uffingham. When we got there to see it, my dad said "Is that it? A waste of time seeing it!"

Been twice, the Sunday 2-0 win when Duffield broke his leg and a drawn game in 1999 in the short Heath era. Went in the car for the '99 game and the day out costing me about £100 after losing heavily at cards in the pub pre-match.

He scored an own goal and I am hoping for Trigger Blade to explain the "Bodinog" story

It was originally a short article for Flashing Blade which I understand found its way into Blades Tales, it's not that much of a story.

Trig Jnr (TY) was about seven at the time and we put Ceefax on to find out the score and scorers. One of ours was Bodin og and Trig Jnr (TY) thought we must have signed a new player, not being familiar with the og abbreviation, and ever since, not that he crops up often, Bodin has been known as Bodinog.

I believe your family were having dinner at a different room? I can imagine your face when your son replied "Bodinog" after you asked him who had scored! And you have a name plaque for your house which says "Bodinog"?

Mystery one hit wonder Balkan striker from the 90s.

I fancy it being a special night for the lucky ones who are going, never bank on the Blades but at the same time don't write us off either. We have the uncanny knack of doing the unthinkable in both aspects.
Ive only been to County and Barnsley away played decent both times if they played like they did at Barnsley that will do me.

I remember going to watch us win at Swindon back in the day and Littlejohn scored and Fjortoft scored for them with a peach. It was around Christmas time cant remember when tho.
