Our "chippy" reputation

I was listening to Monday's Guardian Football Weekly podcast and despite the panel being very complimentary about our victory and performance over Palarse, Barry Glendenning (not known for his tactical insight and analysis) suggested that us Blades seem to be a "chippy" lot (using a Twitter exchange with our very own Blades Analytic as an example of this) when it comes to the stereotyping of our playing style.

Are we becoming too preoccupied with gaining recognition for our indisputably attractive and innovative brand of football? We're two games in and as more people witness our style of play, I'm sure more plaudits will follow. I don't want us to develop the sort of arrogant reputation normally attributed to our arrogant neighbours!

But if we are to be arrogant, to quote Tywin Lannister..."The lion does not concern himself with the opinions of the sheep"
