Now Bert is never one to press the panic button but we've spent £50m on Mouse, Berge and McBurnie and so far they've looked a complete waste of money.

Moose has been value for money when he has been fit. Scored some quality goals which he has created on his own.

McBurnie has only done it in the odd game such as Brighton away.

Berge just doesn't look ready for the Premier League.

Dont make assumptions bert, this is a forum to share your own opinions and to discuss things last I heard.

I agree with you 100 percent to your post by the way.

Bert I said something similar on another thread only 2 minutes ago, I pray that you are wrong but it looks like £50 squandered. And what do you mean Moose looks good when fit? He plays 30 minutes & is then off to a nothing challenge & has not scored since November!

Moose had fitness issues when Wilder signed him. He took that gamble.

Well they have all been very disappointing .Berge more so than the others. When you think of such players as Bash and Fleck also Stevens and the outlay we payed for them and how much we payed for our big money players it makes you wonder.

Moose has done enough to justify his price, 5 Prem goals and most of them got us points.

McBurnie is bang out of form, but had started to show some before the break, but any strikers at the moment are on a hiding to nothing with sod all service.

Berge is starting to worry me now for this season. Played 45 minutes in his natural position today and made more mistakes than positive contributions from what I saw. He doesn't currently look able from a mental or physical standpoint to play for us in this league.

I'll reserve judgement until next season though, I expect we'll fiddle with the formation to fit him in better.

Moose has played in 82 Premier League games in total and scored 8 goals.
1 in 10 and no apparent prospect of improving on that statistic

This is bollocks. Mouse and McBurnie have scored really important goals that have won us vital points which will help keep us in this league (which people seem to have forgotten was our goal at the beginning of the season).

I agree and Moose when on fire looks a threat and causes trouble.

McBurnie I can't explain. He has one good game then three bad games, far too inconsistent.

Maybe against Man U isn’t the right time to be overly critical, and I’ve been anything but negative about the Blades this season - but I think Bert could be right.

I’ve stuck up for McBurnie all season and latterly for Berge too, but even I admit that there are some worryingly below par performances.

Moose annoys me because he’s never fit.

But we’ve done amazingly well this season and can’t believe that we’re in a position that we aren’t anywhere near the relegation conversation.

I desperately want all 3 to be a success, or at the very least 1 of them & the other 2 to be showing signs of improving, but I am losing confidence that any will come good for us. But I trust in CW & AK & their abilities to get the best out of them!

Drastic action needed, admit we've dropped a major bollock with these signings and get shut even at a loss.CW admitted his mistake with Evan's, Holmes, Thomas ect so here's hoping he will do the same even if the values are much higher. We can't afford to start next season carrying these players or we'll be in big trouble.

Maybe I saw a different match but I thought Berge playedok in the second half.
His passing was good and he did as much as anyone to stem the tide.
This was not the match to decide whether he is good enough in the Norwood role.
You are right it was not the match to find out that's why he was dropped and only came on after the match was lost.Well i think he came on. 😄

I expect some will get the boot. To be fair Wilder knows when it isn't working with some players.

Didnt realise Berge had come on either. They will probably get a second chance come September then booted out Jan/Feb if not come upto scratch

Wilder hasn't been shy in the past getting rid of players when they have not lived up to his expectations. Leonard, Holmes and carruthers were players he chased for a long time who made zero impression.
