Your post in totally illogical.

We’ve already given Wilder 2 big pay rises in the last year.
Lets say he’s on 20K a week. Are you suggesting we double his wage to 40K a week.
Then if we win a few more....shall we double it again to 80K a week.
Then what he keeps going well....do we increase it to 160K a week.
Then a few months later double it again to 320K.

His salary doesn’t mean anything because the biggest 4 clubs would still tempt him even if we were paying Wilder 500K a week.
In fact his salary is pretty much irrelevant.

Anyhow as I keep saying fans of other clubs would touch Wilder with a barge pole.
They only still think we’re only winning because our players work hard and they are convinced we’re in a false position.
Theres so much snobbery at PL level.....which is great because none of the top half clubs are remotely interested in Wilder.

Sunderland and Leeds (if they fail to be promoted) are the biggest clubs that would want Wilder.
At PL level I think if Dyche leaves Burnley then I think they are the only team that would want Wilder.
Don‘t even think Newcastle would touch Wilder, his stock is improving massively but he’s still very very unfashionable.

Clough has a unique and special place in football history because he made an unfashionable provincial football club the best in the universe.
Now maybe it won’t be quite on that scale but something is happening here,something big that wouldn’t mean half as much to Wilder at any other club in the world.

The Everton fans would revolt if their club showed any interest in Wilder, it would be classed as a serious lack of ambition, they prefer Mourinho.
Have a look at their main forum, less than 1% voted for Wilder to be next manager, he’s about 20th choice on a long list.
Fortunately for us we parked the bus against Everton, so their fans think Wilder is a Pullis/ Alydyce type, they weren’t impressed by us.
The vast majority say Wilder is a dinosaur and they’ve rather have Gene Wilder as manager.

Horses for courses. With these superclubs CW would just be a cog in the machine. Transfer targets etc would be out of his hands or he would have much less input than he has now. Homegrown players are a minority at these clubs. It's the other way around at the Blades. The footballing culture is massively different. And I think CW is enjoying the challenge he has now. He is creating a legacy and anyway why speculate on worse case scenarios? We're on a journey. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Right now, Everton and Man U are not attractive prospects to go to, both clubs seem to be in a mess on the field and Man U in particular have issues between the board and the football side which could be a sticking point for any potential new manager going there. A manager of any club in the top 6 or even 10 is pretty unlikely to leave their current post to take up a position at Everton

Leicester, Liverpool, Chelsea and perhaps Man City are extremely unlikely to get rid of their manager because they're all doing fine.

So that leaves Spurs and Arsenal and i think the timing would be wrong, but they are jobs which would be hard to turn down.

That said. Why would Wilder even consider leaving when things are going so well for him.
