So you weren't one of the lynch mob after the play off defeat. God bless your kids.
No as it happens I was very disappointed as I believe we threw away a golden opportunity. I would have given wilder another crack but I don’t own the club . Wilder although he amassed a fantastic amount of points is also culpable for us not going up at the end of the day . Cannon ? Not a CB with the money . Holding - not played . He was far from perfect but we are where we are and I thought supporting your club was come what may not abuse and cry like a baby when we lose a few !
As ever UTB !

That's the fans, we are reaping what they have sown in their pursuit of success.
Get rid of Wilder it's boring, well you pressed the self distruct button.
Don't moan now you pricks.
I wanted Wilder gone, but what I and I’m sure non of us expected was for him to be replaced with someone with ZERO experience of promotion from this league, this appointment was a step too far when you have very little football knowledge across the club.

We should go and get Cooper now while we still can, he’s done it before with a good players that we’re performing badly as a team, he knows what it takes.

Agreed. Wilder at the helm would have given us the best chance with the last parachute payment. The time to reset for me would have been at the end of this season
Best post of the day by far. However if we were to sack Wilder and appoint someone proven and someone who's done well recently, like Liam Manning for example, then I think the fans would have accepted it more. Not saying Manning was the right man, but someone who's got a decent record.

How long Selles gets to implement his tactics is the question. If we lose all of the first five matches then he may have to go. Not many new managers lose all of the first five matches. Not even Slav and Adkins started that bad.

I must have inadvertantly deleted the email inviting season ticket holders to the committee meeting to vote on whether to sack Wilder or not.

Fans didn't dismiss Wilder, but lots were happy because United needed to change direction. Well United have certainly changed direction

Absolutely not moaning. Disappointed but not moaning.

Wilder got himself the sack. No point debating it, but we are still carrying the legacy of some of his decisions and contract renewals that made little sense. JLT should have been gone either long ago or when CW went too.

He's gone. This isn't CWFC and, eventually, we'll move on without him.

We were quite capable of chucking games and points away under him too and why we're still in this league in the first place.

Oh, and if you think any success was all down to Wilder, I've a bridge to sell you.

Sacking Wilder hasn’t caused this. He failed from a strong position and was failing to handle pressure again. The appointment afterwards is the issue. Let’s not pretend though that any manager, no matter how big the name, starting similarly , wouldn’t be seeing the same claims.

If we'd not sacked Wilder then we wouldn't have needed to appoint Selles!

I dont agree he failed neither but I see you're argument on not handling pressure from the week we lost three matches.

We'll see how Selles does when he hopefully gets in who he wants but in the meantime I'd be playing a different formation to 433 and would have Hamer on the wide left as part of a three behind Campbell. Like most if last season. Barry I'd play on the right because he's right footed and he's too predictable on the left at the minute. Selles seems one dimensional at present. It's Slav all over again.
