Mate, come on, they’re like 25+ points behind us 🤣🤣 after all their bleating at the start of the season (some saying a double relegation) ALL of them (ALL!!) have egg on their fugly faces. They’ve fucked up again in their predictions of us. Same old. Whilst they have one of the worst (best) owners in living memory. LONG LIVE KING CHANSIRI and fuck the cunts. 🤣🤣

Ham and eggs. Yum

We could do with them beating whoever they play before us to get them gobbing off again. It's always better to beat them when they think they are invincible

Don’t ever think of a career in the diplomatic service 😀.

It’s annoying me we suddenly have the best away record in the division and Wednesday are struggling to pick up points at home a couple games before we go there. Sod’s Law.

We were guaranteed to finish above them even before the season started. We gave the scruffy cunts a two point head start. We didn’t win in the league until the third game, and yet we are still well clear. Their star signing was Max Lowe, for fuck’s sake. Max Lowe!

We won the first game at Preston, unless I've misunderstood?

Thought it was that Ugbo lad. How many has he scored this season 🤔?

Not seen much of DH9 recently
He was full of vim and vigour back in July /August
Was he the one that bet us that we would be no more than 15 points ahead of them for the entirety of January? He lost that bet on New Year’s Day, and we’re now a miserly 28 points ahead of them. Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

He was full of it early season and I did warn him to wait until they had actually achieved some first but you know what they are like
High on knicker elastic

We’ve got parachute payments remember.
I know its tongue in cheek - and obviously, the PP are very important in keeping us afloat - which is why we need to get promoted this season. The money is a lifeline and we definitely have an advantage over those teams that don't receive it.
But. I think that promotion to the Premier League over the last few seasons has had a bigger advantage than simply getting our hands on the money. We now have a reputation for taking on Loanees from other PL teams; and also players who don't currently have a club, and for youngsters deciding which Academy to join - to improve them, giving them game time and getting them noticed by the media.
We know some 'ex-players' are still keeping an eye on us, still look back on their time with us with fond memories and some are at other clubs, advising their compatriots to join the Blades. We know that Henderson told Rak-Sakyi to sign for the Blades, not because we had those PP and could give him loads of money, but because (to paraphrase) "Go to the Blades, you'll have a great time, learn loads and the fans will love you - plus, playing at Bramall Lane as a Blade is great fun."
I don't want anyone to waste time investigating, but it would be interesting to know what players in the above category, have signed for the Owls in recent times, and then seen their career kick on big time - signing for a PL Club or for a decent European side (not including those that got pissed off and left - and now hate the Owls with every bone in their body - and advise everyone they know not to go there).
I've got at leat 10 players in my mind who have done that since joining the Blades. And that's what's going to get us promoted - and possibly keep us up in the PL at some time in the future. Players and managers who can see a path - "Go to Sheffield United, they play decent football, they have a great Academy and training facilities, they play a good football - you'll have the opportunity to progress in a team that's going to win a lot of games and the fans and the stadium is top notch for enjoying playing there."
At the beginning of the season, both us and Wednesday were down to the bare bones - we recruited far better players - that's why were 2nd in the League - and yes, the PP helped to cover the wages, but its our reputation and what we can do, that is the reason we ended up with better players wanting to join us. Yes, the PP helped us to get where we are - but that reputation is now baked in and we will hopefully get more players either wanting to join us, or a manager wanting to send their up-and-coming stars.

It is tongue in cheek statement, people forget parachute payments are earned not given.
