We’ve got the ingredients of a decent meal as it is…. But a roast isn’t a roast without Yorkshire Puddings is it? And we haven’t got none……

We’ve bought the rest and yeah it might be alright, but when you’ve bought the rest…. You might as well Sort some Yorkie’s had you??…. You’ve gone to all the effort to put together a cracking meal, so make it that and finish the job!

A striker is definitely the Yorkie’s in this poor analogy……when you have gone to the effort that you have, you might as well finish the job! We need another number 9….

See your point and I agree

Defence and keeper: Promotion standard....in my opinion easily as good as the defence when we were last promoted
Midfield: Promotion standard.....in my opinion potentially better (as in more talented) than the midfield in the team that was last promoted
Attack: At best average championship standard.

However maybe the manager is thinking.....we can keep it tight and hardly concede.
Then we have such a talented midfield capable of scoring that maybe they can produce a goal or 2 each match.

Really auto promotion has a lot to do with Brewster and McBurnie stepping up the plate and showing why we paid over 20 million each for them.
Still not convinced either can score many but they both seem up for it...work rate wise.
Might have to again rely on pensioner Sharp to come up with the goals.

With Sharp injured I'd be tempted to skip the Yorkshire pudding all together and have extra meat. Unfortunately wilder got the mix wrong and the Yorkie’s came out of the oven flat and stuck to the tray.

I'd play without a 'striker' and push Ndiaye further forward with khadra in behind. Front 3 of berge, Ndiaye and Khadra. Worked really well towards the end of last season with MGW and Khadra looks the same sort of player.
